  1. This fall, we raised $8,000 to equip four new meeting rooms with video editing equipment. Thanks to your help, it didn't take long to hit the goal. In the past when the goal was reached quickly, we have added to the goal for another need. We did not do so this time, partially due to not knowing at that time whether there would even be a season. Well, it appears MVC games will be played this winter/spring with many games played in cold weather so let's help the team again. This is the write-up that will appear on the donation site.... ********** SiouxSports.com, established in 1994, is an online community for fans, families and friends of Fighting Hawk Athletics. Siouxsports.com members are proud to have raised nearly $40,000 in recent years in support of Coach Schweigert's football program. Members hope to raise funds to address another important need this winter. As you know, the Missouri Valley Conference has moved the football season to spring. While most of UND’s early season games will be played indoors, there will be games played outside in March. UND is in need of new jackets for the team. While it appears the season will go on as scheduled, even if it doesn’t, we need the jackets for late fall games. A description of the Adidas jackets is below. Based on the purchase of 100 jackets, the $173 cost per jacket has been reduced to $115. Therefore, the goal of this campaign will be $11,500. We realize that it is Christmas time and 2020 has been a crazy year but we hope people will step up to help with this effort. Donating is fast and easy! We welcome any amount you can give...$25, $100, $500... whatever you can do will help Bubba continue building a successful football program. All donations are tax deductible and are handled by the UND Alumni Association & Foundation, so it is safe and secure. 2. Our first '22 offer: WR Carson Hegerle, 6'3", 180, West Fargo (West Fargo), ND
  3. The roster is listed under football at fightinghawks.com.
  4. We all would like to know more but schools and coaches are restricted from disclosing COVID-related info or the details of other injuries about their athletes. I would guess that their absence isn’t for disciplinary reasons but it also isn’t smart for coaches to air any “dirty laundry “ that is going on with their players.
  5. I was curious how Moody and Hazekamp were doing. Moody has only played in the first of SUU's five games scoring two points - not sure if he is hurt. In three games, Hazekamp is averaging 10.7ppg and 6rpg through 3 games.
  6. I agree but to play good defense at the D1 level, you need good athletes with good quickness. IMO, we have pretty good BB players but not great athletes. I think the coach understands this but she inherited a team with one available scholarship - pretty difficult to get the right kind of athletes under those circumstances!
  7. I did see a post somewhere that they got it up and running midway through the second half. I guess I had quit trying by then.
  8. Bonnin will play for USD.
  9. Marquette was 24-8 last year, have 3 starters returning including a First Team All-Big East player. We have more turnovers than we would like but are hanging in there very well with four important players not available. Have they said what the issue is - COVID?
  10. I am trying to get via Insider but no luck! Can't get audio either!
  11. Anyone else having problems picking up the video of the game?
  12. Yes, it is. I think you will see the ladies play better, partially because they will have more fun playing under the new regime. Our guards are good but very small for DI BB.
  13. Feldkamp will play for the Jacks.
  14. I would guess that Sather wasn't very happy (but maybe not too surprised) by our play in their first game. Too many dumb turnovers and shooting wasn't good. Our lack of quickness and horses underneath (and maybe shooting) will be a challenge. I liked Sims - worked hard. Nero is good but I have some concern about his ball handling against really quick guards. Sueker did not have a good game but I think he will be a contributor. DAE played his normal game - some good, some not-so-good. G played well - would have like to see him some more minutes. Rebraca got off to a lousy start but picked it up in the 2nd half. I really don't know how he can do what he does. He is always going against someone as tall or taller than him but, more importantly, he is usually outweighed by 20-30 pounds. Not a good game but I assume we can and can play much better!
  15. Looks like four new players are checking in.
  16. I assume we recruited him as a DB - he also played QB for Century. Nice sized kid - 6'5", 220.
  17. Hunter Harvey, 6'5", 250 OL from Bismarck Century has accepted PWO offer.
  18. I shouldn’t have used the term “PWO”. Erica’s sister, Olivia, is on a BB scholarship and Erica simply wants to try to earn on spot on the roster.
  19. On the women's side, Olson committed to Brew in July of last year. I do not know if that offer was still out there or if she decided to play elsewhere. Her sister recently transferred from SMU to NDSU. Lane was a PWO so that may be why she wasn't announced. I expected VanderWal to be announced. Not sure what is happening there. I also don't know about Grant on the guy's side but we may have decided to keep that scholarship open.
  20. We at SS.com should be proud - our fundraising purchased the helmet pads that all the players were wearing in this video.
