  1. Burckhard will join his sister at SDSU.
  2. Yesterday was the first day to contact '22 prospects, we were busy with contacts with young MN talent. Just contacts - no offers. Jones is the brother of Robert. We offered Robert a couple of years ago but he chose Denver. PF Carter Bjerke, 6'9", Wayzata (Wayzata), MN PF Evan Dushek, 6'8", 250, Owatonna (Owatonna), MN C Malcolm Jones, 6'9", Prior Lake, MN F Joshua Ola-Joseph, 6'6", Osseo (Osseo), MN F Sam Rensch, 6'6", 190, Hutchinson (Hutchinson), MN F Brady Helgren, 6'7", 200, Edina (Edina), MN I assume this is a brother of UND FB player, Bennett. Iowa: G Cole Glasgow, 6'2", 190, Dallas Center (Dallas Center-Grimes), IA One more: PG Ayden McDonald, 6'3", Hibbing (Hibbing), MN As a sophomore, McDonald averaged 21 ppg and over 10 assists/game. Unbelievable stats!
  3. Per the BB recruiting sites, there are no other offers at this point. But - they will come!
  4. I can't find my original post about our offering twin brothers, Joe and Gus Hurlburt, from Enderlin. Sather offered both of them about a year ago right now. Joe has just received an offer from Colorado. When I first posted the stats on Joe, he was 6'9", 195. He is now listed at 6'10" and 220. Gus was 6'6" and 170, he is now 6'8" and 190. It would be great to land these guys but it may be difficult to do so.
  5. As Tom Miller recently reported, we have offered Kiera Pemberton, a 5'11", G from Langley, BC. She was considered the most athletic at the Top 100 camp in Vancouver last fall.
  6. Here is the latest.... ED3pdf.pdf
  7. Kordas will attend Bowling Green.
  8. Hughes will play at Ball State.
  9. New offer, his first: C/LB Danny Carroll, 6'1", 250, 4.9, Overland Park (St. Thomas Aquinas), KS
  10. An offer to a SG who plays for perennial power DeLaSalle in the Cities. She averaged just under 14 points as a sophomore - an excellent shooter (45% from the field and 87% from the line). This is her first offer. I like our aggressiveness going after young talent throughout the upper Midwest. SG Sydney Runsewe, 5'9", Minneapolis (DeLaSalle), MN
  11. Muraski will play at WMU.
  12. VanderWal has verballed to us. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/basketball/6501250-UND-womens-basketball-lands-verbal-from-6-foot-6-Canadian
  13. New: CB Jay Burton, 5'10“, 180, Mundelein (Carmmal Catholic), IN Has DII offer
  14. For some reason, her twitter name is hilary23myers, I used “Myers” by mistake. Thanks for catching this....
  15. New offer: C Miranda Vanderwal, 6'5", Strathvoy (Southwest Academy), ONT Must a project as she average only a couple points/game last year. Nice size!
  16. New offer: G Hilary Myers, 5'11", Parma (Western), MI Averaged 13/game as a freshman and about 18 as a sophomore. This year's team went 18-2 before the season was cut short. It appears this is her first offer.
  17. The first few pictures were from the Betty weight room, the rest were Hyslop.
  18. Pace will play at CMU.
  19. New offer: DE Casey Schultz, 6'4", 215, Caledonia (Caledonia), MN Has DII offers
  20. I think my source may have been incorrect - surprisingly, as you indicate, Notre Dame may be interested in having him play both sports. Yeah, there are three really talented brothers. The oldest just transferred from SDSU to Winona and the next one committed to SDSU but decided to go to the JC route instead.
  21. Interestingly, it appears Sather and Bubba may be teaming up to recruit Eli King, a 6'3" FB WR & BB G from Caledonia, MN. Dual sports athletes are very rare these days. Our landing him would be quite unlikely as he currently has FB offers from Notre Dame, Minnesota, Iowa and IA St plus a BB offer from UNI. We have not made an offer.
  22. It appears he only had those two at this point.
  23. As expected, Sibomana will play for the Bison.
  24. Disagree - Sather plays kids that help the team and he likes a deep bench. This year, he had 7 players who averaged at least 10 minutes/game and one of them was Moody - who played in only 9 games. In his previous 5 seasons at Northern, he had 8, 8 10, 10 & 9 players who averaged 10 minutes/game. Bottom line - there was very little talent on the bench and the one player who redshirted would not have helped.
  25. It was an interesting interview. I will make the same comment as I made when his transfer was first announced. It will be the best for Aanen and UND basketball (including all of our coaches and players) that Aanen has found a new home. I wish him well - I hope he has a great career at SUU.
