  1. They hope to have a firm commitment from Howard in the next few days.
  2. It is interesting that he scored 15.7 ppg and 11.3 rbg while only playing an average of less than 29 minutes per game. Looks like his real talent is going to the basket and rebounding. He did shoot 50% from the 3 but only took 17 shots from that length during the season.
  3. From what I understand, Canady will not be ready to go this fall - sad deal!!
  4. Fox is having a Zoom with Johnson tomorrow night!
  5. Joe committed to Colorado last night. He had 10+ offers including UM, UW, Ohio St, IA St, Iowa..... We knew it was a long shot but landing him sure would have helped!!
  6. My mistake - thanks for clarifying!
  7. Four ladies coming in so far: 5'11" G Jodi Anderson - averages 16 pts, 4.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game for 20-1 Circle Pines. 6' G Allie McCarthy, season was cut short in December due to COVID. She was averaging 20+ ppg. Averaged 10, ppg and 13 rpg as a junior. 6'6" C Miranda VanderWal - don't think her team played at all this season. She averaged about 9 ppg and 6 rpg as a junior. 5'7" PG Amanda Roach - runs the offense for the top rated big school in MI. Averaged 10 ppb and 7 apg. It obviously isn't good that the two Canadian girls (McCarthy and VanderWal) played little to no ball this season. It appears that McCarthy is good and that VanderWal is a project. I don't know about Anderson but she has decent numbers playing for a very good team. I wish Roach was a couple of inches taller but we probably wouldn't have gotten her if she was. It appears that she has the talent to contribute. I know the staff is working hard to find some forwards.
  8. I understand that Bergan is a great kid - this decision is likely the best for both him and the team.
  9. McCollum wanted a $100 grand more than we could pay!
  10. Sather and staff are absolutely recruiting Fox hard but he has been contacted by many Power 5 schools so the likelihood of our landing him is not good!
  11. Thanks - I have a great opportunity to put this to good use!!
  12. Can someone post or PM me the pic of the fat SU lady peeing while leaning up against a building! Thanks!
  13. There are two kids there that would really be good players for us!
  14. A couple of weeks ago, many of us that follow the program closely were disappointed that we didn’t have any scholarships available. That has certainly changed quickly. I have been a Sather supporter - he will have plenty of opportunity to bring in some of “his kind” of talent. We will see how he does!!
  15. Geno didn’t give up 4 years! He “got” 4 years of education and 4 years of DI BB at UND rather than playing NAIA ball!!
  16. That really sucks! UND took a chance on Tyree (just like they did with Crandall a few years ago) when others didn't. Many didn't think he would be eligible as a freshman. UND brought him in, gave him guidance, saw that he had good academic assistance, etc. After that, he decides to walk!!!!! I guess he didn't learn anything about integrity!
  17. We need to give Mallory our full support. I wouldn’t be surprised if does well. She had everything go wrong for her this year: - No opportunity to work with the girls over the summer. - Only one available scholarship which she had to use on a point guard without the ability to meet her in person. Many coaches were faced with this challenge but most didn’t just get the job. - Mallory certainly had a hand in recruiting the current roster but I can assure you that the roster would have been different had she been the head coach the prior couple of years. - Players came to fall camp hurt or not ready to contribute. - COVID and injuries resulted in often not having 10 players for practice and a few games with us having only 8 players. - We didn’t have the opportunity to play some weaker teams early which would have allowed us to gain some confidence and have the opportunity to try different player combinations, different defenses and offensive schemes. - More injuries including our only real PG being out for the season. - Inability to win some early season games that were winnable. Maybe some of that was coaching but I think it was simply other teams having better talent and our ladies just “not knowing how to win”. The decision has been made and I wouldn’t be overly surprised if 2-3 years from now we don’t all agree that it was a good decision!
  18. I had guessed that you were right but I was wrong!!
  19. I would guess that you are right!
  20. Considered by some as the best RB in MN. Has offers from CMU, EMU, UNI & USD
  21. He is Noah's younger brother. Must be a smart kid - has offers from Dartmouth, Penn, Columbia, etc. Also a pretty good hockey player! The brother and UND being a hockey school may sure help in our recruiting him!
