I am sure that he will be sitting out a year due to his transfer.
How good is he? Who knows at this point - he was not redshirted last year and played as a true freshman on a very average team. He played about 15 minutes a game and averaged 4 points. With another year of practice and adding some pounds, he may contribute in the future.
I am sure he is walking on, hoping to earn some scholarship $ next year.
I don't know if this is worth our time but we might as well get some votes on record for UND.

Well, we are about six months away from the 2013 FB signing date so we might as well get started on 2014!! Wiki has been updated with three potential recruits - no offers yet.
You continue to imply that money is no obstacle. Just look how long it is taking to raise the necessary $ for the IPF. Even with a couple of large donations, where you are going to find this kind of $?
Meindel has nice size (6'3", 190+) and apparently has a great leg. His strength may be punting but he averaged 67 yards per kickoff - very good for a high schooler!
Thanks for providing the great news, Travis. Hopefully, you will be providing us with more good news in the upcoming weeks with some Badger State commitments to UND.
It was a miserable day. The assumption was that the Alabama guys wouldn't/couldn't compete with us - especially in 20 degree temps and wind. Although the first half was played quite evenly, Livingston had a nice lead due to some big plays. We got the ball on the 2nd half kickoff, got a first down or two, then Buck Kasowski had a 50-60 yard run that was called back due to a clip. We never really got it going after that. Many of us still think that, had that run not been called back, we may have back back to win that game. Bottom line - we lost 34-14.
