  1. Offer: Julian Hylton, 6'1", 180, 4.4, Frankfort (Lincoln-Way North), IL Has offer from Bucknell
  2. We have offered the shooting guard out of Lakeville North. A lot of interest in him as well as Dembley. Known offers: PF Ngor Barnaba, 6'8”, 210, Rochester (John Marshall), MN PG Jordan Dembley, 6'1”, Minneapolis (Holy Angels), MN Has offers from Buffalo, Green Bay, Hampton, San Fran, Wyoming and NM St. SG J.P. Macura, 6'4”, Lakeville (North), MN Has offers from NDSU, UT St, UM-Mil, Vermont, SDSU, St. Louis, Toledo, UNC & WY
  3. Ok - thanks. I had understood that he wasn't enrolled.
  4. Question - do you need to be enrolled to participate in spring drills? I assume their 2nd semester began right after the first of the year and it is too late to enroll for on-campus classes. That said, I suppose he could enroll in some on-line courses and qualify - there are likely various on-line classes starting all the time.
  5. Offer to a nice-sized safety out of Chicago: Mike Warner, 6'2", 195, Chicago (St. Patrick), IL
  6. However, the parents and friends of players from WI, IL, MN, etc. would sure like more games that they could drive to. While the excitement of competing in the BSC and the particpating school's locations is appealing to many players, parents, girlfriends, etc. would sure like a game that was only a 200-300 hundred miles from their homes vs. the many hundred miles they would need to travel to Grand Forks.
  7. I made a similar comment a couple of weeks ago but ..... I have often been critical of our coaching and the lack of focus/discipline (at times) of the men's team the last couple of years. However, what we have done this year with a make-shift line-up with very little size is amazing. If our juniors continue to mature and the newcomers can contribute immediately, we could be very good next year!
  8. Offer No. 24: Ath Duncan Ferch, 6'1”, 190, State Center (West Marshall), IA
  9. Wiki has been updated - what did I miss?
  10. A factual observation but no different than swimming, tennis, golf, soccer, softball........
  11. Lots of activity! Traveling again - will update Wiki later today.
  12. How is the weather up there today - good, I hope!
  13. A lot of good comments today - my turn on a couple of points: I have often been critical of Jones but he and his team have certainly had a great year when all the adversity is considered. We obviously had some very disappointing losses but, with our lineup, we have won a bunch (especially on the road) that certainly weren't expected. You can't help thinking about "what if" but.... that doesn't do you any good. Regarding recruiting, we really have to find a couple of good HS kids now. I highly doubt any talented JC transfer will consider us this spring - they want to play right away and with the large bunch of experienced seniors on the team next year, they probably wouldn't see much playing time. Hooker is such a stud that I hope his choosing UND will prompt some other talented kids to do the same.
  14. Has anyone heard anything new about Opara?
  15. Offer: CB Ross Drwal, 6'1", 195, Omaha (Millard West), NE Very nice size for a CB and nice speed as well.
  16. Probably not too surprisingly when considering the competition and the geography of most of the competition. It is interesting to note that there are only three schools who have teams in both the Men and Women competition.
  17. Good article - thanks for your continued great coverage of BSC BB!
  18. Offer: DE Harrison Phillips, 6'4", 245, 4.9, Omaha (Millard West), NE Has offer from SDSU Likely to get offer from the Huskers!
  19. One more: Ath Luke Gifford, 6'3", 196 Lincoln (Southeast), NE Has offer from Ohio
  20. One more offer: CB Tifonte Hunt, Havery IL
  21. Wow - I was traveling this afternoon, a lot of activity! I will update Wiki yet tonight.
  22. OK - I'm in! Maybe we can successfully assist with this and then try to fund something in the IPF that isn't in the plan due to budget constraints - something that would really assist the program, recruiting, etc. At this point, I have no idea what that might be but I am sure there will be quite a few things that will fall into that category - nice to have but they don't have the $ for it!
  23. Enlighten me - do we know for sure that the UND FB program and administration want green jerseys or is this just our wish?
  24. We won 49-48. They missed a ton of layups - we were lucky. Lousy on the FT line again!
