I said it in the spring when TJ committed to play one more year, that this was truly a gift for us fans. This situation sounds very familiar. Three years ago people were saying who is this kid? Then he got here and people saw him play, and they saw him sign autographs, and take pictures, until the last picture was taken, and the last autograph signed. He quickly became a fan favorite on and off the ice, with his work ethic, and enthusiatic way he interacted with everyone off the ice. Thanks for being a class act TJ, and representing yourself and your university proudly. I look forward to watching you for one more year. Let's make it a magical one and bring home the hardware (before you go wear the big blue note.)

I was thinking it would be more like an episode of Reno 911, or that reality show where they had Eric Estrada, Trish Stratus, LaToya Jackson, Jack Osbourne, and Wee Man from Jackass.

I know it's the first day of the Blues rookie camp, but has anyone heard how our boys (Osh and Duncs) are doing? On a side note, I see Tyler Hirsch was listed on the camp roster. Good to see Tyler back in action.

Agreeing or disagreeing with the letter is a matter of personal choice. However, I think it does show some disharmony between the AD's office and some alumni. I do know for a fact that there are certain alumin/season ticket holders that do feel somewhat "alienated" by some of the decision's that have been made by the AD. With the move to D1 on the horizon, these are not the people that you want to upset. They are the ones who have, and will continue to be, the finacial support behind the sports programs. "Whizzing in their oatmeal," and then asking them for $$$ may not be a good move at this point.

I see another throw down in some dark Grand Forks alley coming out of this. How about the one behind my house? I'll referee.

Yeah, sounds good to me.

Well, since he has already been compared to Lee, I would say that LaPoint season is officially open now.
-
I'm with you on this one, call me an apologist or whatever else, but I feel that Brian was unfairly singled-out at times. Like I said before, you simply do not replace the two years of WCHA blueline experience.
-
There was a lot of love that went into the making of those things.
-
Really? How long has he been there?
-
Dude, if you were a light bulb, you wouldn't be a very bright one.
-
Dude, I thought for sure you would put your $.02 worth in on the Brian Lee thread. You're disappointing me.
-
Well said, thanks bro.
-
Yeah, most players that haven't "properly developed" sign pro contracts after two years of college hockey.
-
Hang on a minute here. Many people chose Brian Lee as the scapegoat for all the pitfalls of this team over the last two years, I call bull$%!# on that. Hockey is a team sport, there are six players on the ice at any one time. You win and celebrate as a team, and you lose and lament as a team, that's the deal. Criticism is fine, but I have always felt that Lee was unfairly singled-out.
-
I hope everyone enjoyed bashing him for the last two tears. I don't care who is slated to come in, you simply do not "replace" two years of WCHA blueline experience. I'm sad to see him leave, best of luck to you Brian.

Whenever I drive through a small town (like Lansford,) I'm always looking for a bald kid sitting on a bridge playing a banjo. Just kidding.

Yeah, and it looks like we are going to have another thirty pages of this s&!t on the board again.

They must have small feet...

...and DENIAL is not just a river in Egypt.
-
Hey Rip VanWinkle, well the hell have you been?
-
...and your point is what?
-
No need to keep defending your point of view, you're right, people will come to realize that. How the information was "leaked" is all a moot point now.
-
OK, I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread. Thank you PCM for bringing it up.

Where did I ever say it was right or wrong? I just said it happens, and it will happen again, that we can be sure of. I'm not going to speculate or elaborate on the subject any more, but it is what it is.
