I here ya. I asked Johnny about it the last time I talked to him, he said "believe me, I will miss it more than you could ever imagine" or something to that effect. He's a great kid, and very sincere. There going to love him in Chicago.

I think Johnny needed another year with the Sioux, but that's just my opinion.

There isn't one of those guys that even comes close to Johnny, as a player or as a person. We were very fortunate that we were able to have him here for two years. A simple oversight I'm sure as Johnny would easily be the overwhelming favorite in that survey.

You're reallly giving yourself too much credit here, it made absolutely no sense at all. You're right about one thing, if Matt Greene were to slap you, there would be alot of crap flyng around. In fact, after he was done there would be nothing but splattered crap and that stupid cape thing you wear leftover.

That's ironic, a well known member of published media calling someone else shady. Honestly, the sticks are moving fast, so don't wait if you are thinking about getting one. (They make great gifts for the hockey fan, and Christmas is right around the corner .)

As TheWhistler pointed out, TJ's effort on the ice night in and night out may be the difference as to why the fans cut him some slack. I just don't think Brian got the benefit of the doubt, and like I said before, was scapegoated for the misfortunes of the whole team.

Imagine holding a hockey stick with a broken thumb. Then having the same thumb injury re-aggrevated every night you step out on the ice. Not making up excuses, but it sure could inhibit you from performing. As I recall there was some chatter about TJ being "snakebit" the first half of last season, so the fact that he missed a few open nets did not go unnoticed by the fans. However, I agree, the crticism of Lee was fair greater and much nastier.

He had a broken thumb, but would probably not ever use that as an excuse as many players play through injuries. I'm sure most of these guy's are as hard or harder on themselves at times than even us fans can be.

I wouldn't call it cheerleading. I think Lee was unfairly scapegoated for the early season tailspin the whole TEAM was in. That's the bottom line here, team. Win, lose, draw, it is a team effort. If that is tooting the horn for Brian Lee, so be it.

You're just pissed because a "real D1 team," that already has 7 D1 National Championship's won't take the time to give your club hockey team a good ass-whoopin'.
