Since Bison Dan is a pea brain too, isn't his statement in a way putting down himself?

Does anyone remember the Burt Reynolds movie Longest Yard? Pretty soon there will be a group of Bison football players who will be able to take on the prison guards. I would pay to go to that game. The guards would probably be favored though.

I will be curious to see if Gene Taylor applies for the AD job at USD.

You probably shouldn't be pointing fingers at our basketball team. Your basketball team isn't even in transition and you lost 19 games. Congrtatulations on your great year too. Considering your done with transition your men's basketball team was the joke.

I see where Gene Taylor got beat out by the USD Athletic Director for a job at Kent State. I guess he should have been pursuing jobs back when his iron was hot. The iron is a little cool now.

Sioux recruit Josie Dillon of Benilde-St. Margarets played a big part in her team winning the state championships in Minnesota last night. With her team down 4 in the last minute she hit a 3 and a 2 to propel her team to the championship. She is only a sophmore and will be a terrific player for the Sioux.

I watches the 2nd half of the Rabbit women game yesterday and it was really an ugly half of basketball. The lady for ORU who was the conferences top scorer really struggled. She was really forcing the action. She would either turn it over or have an offensive foul or miss an easy shot. She was really a head case by the end. SDSU had a nice lead but must of turned it over about 7 or 8 times down the stretch. A lot of the turnovers were on consecutive possessions. By the play in the 2nd half neither team deserved to win the game. Based on yesterday's game I don't think SDSU is anywhere as good as last year. It looked like 99% of the fans at the game were Rabbit fans. It is truly a home court advantage for SDSU.

Didn't a similar situation happen a year or 2 ago at a home football game for the Bison? At least they don't limit their actions to 1 sport.

A UND/NDSU game could be an extremely profitable game. Much higher than any other nonconference game. Bison fans seem to think every thing is rosy when it comes to ticket sales right now. If NDSU doesn't start winning some games in a hurry you will be able to shoot a cannon through the Fargodome. There were a lot of empty seats as this year went on.

Blah. Blah. Blah. If Taylor wants the series to resume it will happen. USD games are going to happen. It is everyone's loss. Bison fans are always going to support anything Taylor says even if he is constantly talking in circles. The reason this series stopped was a mistake. Everyone has been punished enough. The mistake was made years ago. It is old news. Move on.

Over the years Gene Taylor has given so many phoney baloney reasons why they can't resume the rivalry it is just comical. He has been all over the board. I think we should just let NDSU go away and hide with their 3 and 8 record. This game should mean just as much to BOTH schools and the state of North Dakota. Taylor just doesn't get it. Taylor and NDSU will just continue to look like the fools on this matter. Resuming the rivalry isn't just about NDSU and what works for them. Is is what works best for both schools and the state of North Dakota. Everyone might need to bend a little to make it work . NDSU just doesn't see the big picture.

Utah Valley beat the Bison by 8. Und beat Utah Valley by 5. I guess UND would beat the Bison by 13. Even so the Bison don't have a bad little team. Go Sioux.

I need a rules clarification.. On a kickoff when the ball goes out of bounds, what yard line does the next drive start? Are High School, College and the Pros all the same?

Did Indiana State win today? If they did NDSU will officially be in last place. Playoffs not looking good for NDSU.

I see that NDSU is at least ahead of one team in the Missouri Valley conference standings. Indiana State is behind them. But Indiana State hasn't won a game in their conference for years. They are a real doormat. It will come down to the NDSU/Indiana State showdown in a few weeks to see who finishes last in the Missouri conference. It should be a real barn burner. It will indeed be a whale of a game.

The chances of NDSU winning a national title aren't very good right now. I am sure their marketing department will make every one down there feel like there is still a pretty good chance that it will happen though. There so worried about how far they are going to go in the playoffs that they forget they need to just win a football game first.

Texas Tech had 445 total yards of total offense against UND. Texas Tech had 447 yards of offense against #2Texas. Considering Texas Tech's performance tonight is there any chance that they break into the top 25 yet.

When you watch the way Texas Tech is battling #2 Texas at Texas, it makes the showing by the Sioux at Texas Tech even more impressive.

I would think it would be more likely that they would come to the first game in 2013 in Grand Forks and probably cancel on the second game in 2014 in Fargo. I guess time will tell.

Last week Bison fans were giving us crap about giving up 400 yards of offense to Texas Tech. They need to be a little more careful when they starting pointing fingers. Tonight the Bison must have given up close to 700 yards to Sam Houston. Once again our showing against Texas Tech looks quite impressive. They scored 55 points tonight and only gave up 10. Boy would it be fun to play the Bison. It would be very competitive. We are only in our 2nd year of transition and we lose every recruit to the Bison. Ha Ha! Can't wait till we get 2 more recruiting classes. Maybe one of the most important things is what you do with the athletes once you get them into your program. The actual coaching of the kids is very important.

Actually after our performance yesterday we probably didn't help our chances of geting an Iowa State game. They probably aren't going to be too anxious to play us.

It is too bad the Sioux don't have Iowa State on the schedule this year. It would be a very interesting game. I would say their would be a very good chance in the future with Mussman being a former Iowa State player. It is a great day to be a Sioux fan.

Iowa State finally found someone they could beat. I think it is still going to be a long year for Iowa State.
