I see on the Forum website Gene Taylor and NDSU are mad about the playoffs pairings. NDSU will have to play the winner of the SDSU game. They think they should of gotten a weaker team. I remember 3 years ago NDSU backed into the playoffs after getting shutout by Missouri State in the last game of the year. NDSU was the last team in to get into the playoffs and they even got to host a first round game. Gene Taylor wasn't complaining that year.

I don't like when schools buy games out. It has happened many times to both UND and NDSU. I would think Montana would feel a little more of an obligation to UND because they are in the same conference. It would be very poor of Montana to do that. It wouldn't exactly be a situation that would create good feelings between same conference teams. I would think Montana would be above that.

The AGS poll has 4 Big Sky teams in the top 11. 5 in the top 25. 7 teams either ranked or getting votes. What a conference!!!!!

I see in the new poll Northern Iowa is still getting votes. They have 1 Division 1 win. Incredible.

The problem with student attendance isn't just at UND. Gene Taylor was on the radio yesterday talking about the lack of students showing up for games at the Fargodome. I guess it doesn't matter whether you win or lose. I don't know the answer to the problem.

NDSU had over 19,00 in attendance for the Youngstown game a week ago. Yesterday they had just over 18,000 in attendance. If they wwere sold out they must of had almost a thousand no shows. That seems odd.

I didn't realize that. I guess you would be right then. I not quite as famaliar with the CAA. The Big Sky would be the 2nd toughest then and the MVFC 3rd.

Big Sky has 4 teams in the top 20 this week in the coaches poll. MVFC has 3 teams in the top 20 this week. The Big Sky has to be the toughest conference this year.

Apparently NDSU admininistration received some good news today. The rest of the home games this year are going to have a few less expenses than normal. There will be no need to hire a chain gang.

You just can't make this up. This story really happened. It is a regular comedy. Hilarious.

I see they have locked down the topic on the scandal at Bisonville. They don't even want to talk about it anymore. They just want it to go away.

On one of the news shows on television last night they showed a more extensive interview with Gene Taylor. Gene came off very insecure and almost flustered. His response and his reasons for lack of action came off very weak and unprofessional. I think he probably realizes something needs to be done but is afraid to ruffle the feathers of Bohl and other powers to be at NDSU. It really came off rather sad.

Looks like NDSU might of missed their opportunity to get into the Big Sky too. I guess they will be stuck in the Summit.

So if the story is true the recruit chose a walkon at UND over a scholarship at NDSU.. My how times are a changing in the recruiting wars.

The Red River volleyball player who signed with NDSU this week said her final choices were NDSU, SDSU, and Duluth. Did UND recruit her? What was the story there?

Arp was walking on at UND. Is he walking on at NDSU to or did NDSU offer him money at the last second. Didn't someone say NDSU stayed after Molberg even after he committed to UND too?

The last couple years Coach Bohl has made quite a point of emphasis on signing day that they once again they got the players of the year in the state of North Dakota. Hopefully Mussman will emphasis it just as much as Bohl did. It looks like it is going to be a tremendous class. Hopefully there are still a couple of surprises yet to come.

Just a few days ago we struggled to put Mayville away. Today were giving Mew Mexico a battle at the Pit. This team is hard to figure out.

So it is the last day using the Fighting Sioux name. It is fitting that the last games are on national television on New years Eve. The basketball team is playing Kansas in Kansas on ESPNU. The hockey team is on Fox College Sports playing Harvard. A pretty impressive day for national exposure for UND.

The Fargo media was wondering if NDSU making the championship in their 3rd year was the quickest anyone in FCS had ever made the championship game after moving to FCS. So it was their 4th year that they made it to the game. NDSU was 3 and 8 in their 2nd year after becoming playoff elgible. Hopefully the Sioux can have a better and quicker road to the final.

Sometimes maybe were to hard on our women. UNI beat the Bison women by 19 this week. We need to get more consistent on the shooting end. Maybe with a couple of new players next year who are better shooters from the outside we could even be a lot better in a hurry. There is hope. Roebuck said the recruits coming in next year are the best he has had.

I would imagine when Cental Arkansas agreed to the original 2 game series they thought it would be 2 easy wins for them. First we beat them at their place. Then when they made the playoffs this year they realized that with UND being a ranked team this year that it would probably be tough to win the return game in Grand Forks. They decided they would rather buy the game out then take a loss next year in Grand Forks and maybe knocked themselves out of a playoff spot next year. It worked out great for UND. We get to have a future Big Sky team coming to Grand Forks. I do wonder what the financial deal was with Portland State to entice them to come to Grand Forks. Great job Mr. Faison. It really would be be great if they could get the Mines game switched too.
