  1. I'm not saying that at all. The sioux are not without fault and have had players dismissed, sit out and just not come back for a variety of reasons.
  2. "The Bison announced Saturday that two players, defensive end Garrett Johnson and defensive tackle Greg Reid, have been suspended for a violation of team rules." When is this going to quit for that team? Is "violation of team rules" the baggage that comes with a DI FB team?
  3. A little birdie told me the other day that the Broncos were in town, and they had interest in Hermes he ran some drills for them. Maybe another sioux on sundays? I know he has some spectacular athletic abilities, I wish the best to Tony......
  4. He sure pulled the wool over your eyes sucka. Maybe Sioux Crew would have him as the group spokes person ...... Or maybe Gene Taylor is looking for an assistant.
  5. Congratulations to Roger Thomas for his new job as Commish if the NCC. Without any question he has been a huge asset to UND since he became head coach in '86. Who do you think will make a good replacement at the AD position? Lord help is if Jared Bruggeman were to take over, even in the interum. My thoughts on him are he has the mental capacity, and personality of a can of hair. However I think Dean Blaise would and should be at the top of the list for the new AD. He understands and knows UND and the current coaching staffs. I believe Dean would be a good fit for the job.
  6. Hey Tomato boy do those radio recievers pick up XM??
  7. I think this spring will have some serious battles going for p/t next fall. First who is going to be the new back field? A loss of two players like Roland and Wistoff will be hard shoes to fill. Wisty was one heck of a FB player. The quality to his blocking and play in general in my opinion was second to none. Roland is a back that Strouth cant be. Strouth is just to little. The kid plays hard but I can only see Brandon as a 10-15 carries per game back. Any more and I think he wouldn't make it the season. Roland was a blue collar get-er-done back. He could go out take hits and allow the offense to pound the ball. Finding the replacements for those two may be hard. It will be interesting to see who ends up as the new back field.
  8. What a waste of money, Who builds a new field that only seats ~4.5K. I heard that SCSU plays their games at night b/c people would rather go watch St. Johns a MIAC team (NCAA DIII). That is like saying people in GF would rather drive 15 min. to watch Mayville State play than the Sioux. How can a school with a fall enrollment of 19,383 students only build a stadium for ~4.5k?? St. Johns fall enrolment 1,865, yes (one thousand eight hundred sixty five), and their stadium holds 5,500 poeple. SCSU has over 10 times the enrolment, builds a smaller stadium, and plays at night because people would rather watch the Johnnies play football. All I can think is total lack of support by the school and community of St. Cloud. Half full in a 4500 seat stadium looks a lot better than 2200 people in a 11,000 seat field.
  9. Get a life I would rather watch Crookston vs. Augustana
  10. Past, Present, and Future I would have to say the General....... Dale Lennon. If I am not mistaken he scored a TD on his last college carry, as a coach at UND he took RTs foundation to the next level (NCC 99, 01, 03, DII 2001), and the future....... Time will tell but looks very bright..... Current player would have to be Adam Roland. The kid is a hard nose get-er-done tailback. I am glad to see he is on the poster this year. Does anyone know where a guy could get some copies of the '04 posters???
