I can't give you a link for this or directly name a source, for obvious reasons, but I am hearing that the locker room atmosphere and attitude is much improved this year. I have been told that there were issues between some of the older skaters who were part of the program startup and the newer skaters. Hopefully, if true, this will translate into better on-ice results.

This is an inappopriate response and beyond the limit of sensibilities for this board, IMHO.

Hopefully this was a good lesson, without the negative consequnces, that the team needs to come out of the locker room prepared to play. They obviously did not start the game that way, but sucked it up in the second half. It will be a clear indication when Reed Manke gets back if the offense returns to its previous productivity and domination. GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously, since the Sioux had the ball most of the third quarter. They are now in a grind it out mode, running the ball, keeping their defense on the field and ours on the sideline. Sooner or later they will pop over the top.

Your celebrations during the past couple of games don't have anything to do with that, do they???

I guess that I always heard that offensive linemen preferred run blocking to pass blocking. As mentioned for pass blocking, it is more a defensive maneuver. With run blocking they get to lay some licks on the defensive team and get after them a bit rather than take the beating. But BigGame has it right, they are two entirely different techniques and philosophies. And of course, sometimes it is important to make one look like the other one in order to confuse the defense and give them the wrong reads.

In Warrior 08's defense, you can't get after him for being "one of those fans." He clearly isn't a fan, as a fan does not leave a game early. First of all, I wouldn't leave a game early. And second, if I was suffering some sort of dementia or medical emergency that resulted in leaving early, I surely wouldn't stick my head up and admit it.
