    I just lost all respect for UMASS head coach: "It’s frustrating because the game to that point where he thought he had to defend himself,” UMass head coach Greg Carvel said. “The kid was coming at him so he got his elbow up to protect himself. " That is pure bull. The kid leaped into the air to be sure his elbow got the head.

    RIP Sprig. Our seats at The Ralph are in the same section and I would talk with him at just about every game as well as Hoggsbreath. Condolences to the family. He will be missed. Siouxman

    My bad. I guess for me they are just so forgettable when it comes to the NCAA tourney. Maybe this will be their year, or not. That was a hell of a game with UMD in St. Paul.

    Until SCSU proves they can win a Final 16 game, I have a difficult time believing they will move on. I don't believe they have ever won one. It might have something to do with the fact they play most of their games on Olympic ice. They did look good on Saturday night, but still wound up losing.

    Last time MN was in charge of something they needed another $80M just to complete a driver's license software upgrade because the initial upgrade didn't work and had already cost millions.

    We will be in St. Paul for the tourney. Going to the Hogg is undecided since I am not in charge . Last year was the first time I have missed it so I am hoping to be at there this year.

    Not sure about Chicago. Given their shooting statistics (guns, not pucks) over the past few years that is getting to be the place that I do not want to go. I think they have close to 100 shootings every weekend. Scary.

    Single game tickets at Omaha just went on sale. If you plan to go to Omaha for the series in January you can get your tickets directly through UNO without having to pay Ticketmaster fees, at OMavs.com/tix. Evidently this is a favorite game as prices are $10 higher than any other UNO series at $30 upper level and $40 lower level.
