I have to disagree. If being a part of the media is your career and you think that you should have a set schedule, not ever having a few variables, well then you are probably in the wrong profession.

There is no doubt WDAZ should have been ready, inexcusable. It is not as if this was sprung upon them. All season everyone thought the Sioux would be on the road. They should have been planning then, should have known that more than likely their Thanksgiving Day weekend would be on the road. That's life in that type of career. Like Sultan said, it would of have been a fairly safe risk to assume this outcome of having a game on the road this weekend.

I wish Lennon would of have let Hellevang kick the FG when they were up 28-0? in 1st half from about 45 yds instead of going for the fake. Absolutely no pressure, perfect conditions....meaningless either way. Good way for him to get his confidence, he has the leg for the distance. It might take a while to get him a gimme or it might be in a pressure situation. That would have shown that Lennon had confience in him.

Yeah, she doesn't seem to have the ability to take over in crunch time. The regionals against Minto-Midway was a perfect example.... she was scared to try and take over, she would rotate the ball around the perimeter instead of trying to create anything late in the game. Long ways to go to be a solid player, but the ability is there.

Tha other Gillett, a cousin, is a junior to be. She has a lot of work to do to be a NCC/DI type post. She would have to work much harder than she has in the past. Not a lot of low post moves, only dominates the boards because of the level she plays at, below average shooter.

As with most players used to dominating with her inside game at that level, she will have to improve almost everything to play on the wing more(ballhandling,shooting,perimeter defense). She should fit in well as she is very athletic and should be able to run the floor as UND likes to do. It will be interesting to see how she improves over the next year, could develop into a versatile player. Boese-like size and height.

Fullerton also stated that another stability problem with a widespread league is that factions develop and will/can develop their own clique and defect to another league together before anyone in the former even hears about it. I thought it was his same old politician talk. Hopefully UND does not hang their hat on his words and get burned like the SU's have.

On the news last night they stated another way the poll was skewed. WDAZ stated about 230 alumni that signed the petition but almost 1/3 were Indian. Surprise, surprise at the results.
