Tickets were very hard to come by. Scalpers made a mint. Lowers started out around 200 each and progressed as it went. I know some pairs went for $600 plus, uppers for $400, these prices were not the strips,just today's games. Even the scalpers didn't expect the demand.

Roebuck has always hated being on the other side when his team had went 2-0 or 3-0 against opponents before the regionals.....would be interesting to know how he feels this week. Does he believe the Sioux are at an advantage? He sounded confident after the game on Sunday, he thought it was one of the best halves they played all year. Loved hearing USD cut down the nets, I guess when you beat a team that had went undefeated in a tournament in all 8 years of the tourney's existance it is a big deal. Here is a good laugh.... Mandy Arndston likely would have been in top 5 if not for the injuries. She dominated as a freshman in almost every aspect. She was a great rebounder, nose for the ball and a great 3 point shooter. Never did fully recover after that first knee injury. Another player that should be mentioned is Kami Winger, just overshadowed by Crouse. Great rebounder, athletic post. She saved the Sioux countless times when Crouse was in foul trouble (which was often in the early years). Often she was a better matchup against other teams and would absolutely dominate the paint physically. She was actually more developed early in their careers than Crouse also. That testimonial should be worth a free round at Overtime, shouldn't it? I wouldn't include LeCuyer, that Player of the Year award was a joke. Good player, but not at the level of the others being mentioned. That POY award was related to being the top scorer on the Sioux who were dominating D II at the time.

After the game, a few of us were talking about the whole deal and how funny it was watching her, told many people at bar, everyone thought I was full of it. Didn't the the black Nike Swifts go for about $17,000+ for all of them this summer, I think that is pretty close anyway? At least those had the Frozen Four patch and a Hobey winner was included.

He stated final decision hadn't been made yet, I believe he also referenced that Ottawa had been busy. He said there is no deadline as to when final decision will be made. IMO, he is waiting for an offer or a bigger one, very non-committal either way.
