Exactly. Or give them some type of alternate status.

Some decent news for Bemidji. www.bemidjipioneer.com/articles/index.cfm?id=13176§ion=News Hopefully the WCHA will open the door . . .

I've never been to the Ralph besides for men's hockey. I'm taking the family to that motocross event Saturday at 7:30. Where is the best place to park - and when do you need to get there so you're not a mile away? There's no shuttle service and I have a 6 and 3 yr old. Thanks!

Here's to a healthy and prosperous new year to all. Let's go Sioux!!!

According to KFAN, Okoposo (sp) is leaving for the Islanders (or affiliate). Leaving mid-year is a low blow for the Gophs, WCHA and college hockey in general.

Hopefully, we'll be hearing these type of quotes from the Sioux locker room: I'm really proud of the way our guys hung in there. We were really on our game. We brought our A-game. We took them out of their game. We knew what we had to do and went out and did it. We feel fortunate. We knew this would be no cakewalk. The important thing is that we won. This was a good win for us. This was a confidence booster. We're going to use this win as a building block. We'll use this win as a stepping stone to the next level. We're not going to rest on our laurels. It was a hard-fought contest. It was a total team effort. I'm happy I could make a contribution. We made our own breaks. We played our hearts out. We knew we had to defend our home turf. This team shows a lot of character. This team shows a lot of poise. This team shows a lot of pride. This team shows a lot of heart. We're going to savor this victory. We made a statement here today. We sent a message here today. This win is for all the fans. This MVP award belongs to the whole team. We've got the greatest fans in the world. You dream about this as a kid. LETS GO SIOUX!

Yeah, but it's Sioux - Gopher week . . . common . . .
-
Are you a season ticket holder? No, but get to the Ralph for 3-4 games a year plus a trip to Duluth. Plus, it's hard to beat the Glas in Bemidji. Event Centre? We don't need no stickin event center . . .

Will there be any Sioux playa's sitting vs UMD due to DQ's or were they misconducts?
-
That was the most emotion I've seen from Hak . . . I think he'd take him.
-
Well at least they (FCS) decided to show the game in the first place. It could Middle South Eastern Northern Texas vs Central Western Weslyan Pacific Georgia football.

I thought Grieco was a Roman wrestler?

Oh no . . . whippersnaper. I had older cousins who introduced me to the likes of Ambrosia, ELO, etc. I grew up wanting to be a metal god guitar player. I went to Ratt (Hyslop and Showlander Pavillion), Warrant, Poison, Winger, Cinderella, Trixter, Firehouse, Bon Jovi, Crue (Winnipeg a few times), Monsters of Rock, Metallica (Hyslop), Ozzy, Kiss, DL Roth and some more . . . memories are a little hazy. I still listen to the 70's and 80's music on the 8 track . . . and those new fangled cassettes.

Me, I'll take Firefall (Just Remember I Love You, You Are The Woman) Orleans (Still The One) and Redbone (Come And Get Your Love) . . . can't go wrong with the Doobies either. Styx and REO were very good in concert. So was Frampton and Supertramp.

Very cool! College hockey is finally here . . .
-
A very reliable source just said that KO is coming back for another year. Carmen is out a year for academics.
-
I'd vote for Dave's in Bemidji. BTW . . . Tony's, Freschetta and the evil son of the Devil himself, Red Barron, are all owned by Schwans . . . a Minnesota (Marshall) owned company . . .
-
I emailed PBTV and they said it wouldn't be "technically feasible" to air the game since they're digital cable and not-coax - whatever that means . . .
-
I gotta say it's nice to see the ol 41boss.com ad again with "Bob" - I missed it . . .
-
Now that would make Holy Cross' ride last year look like a casual win.
-
I understand them picking BC, but Notre Dame to get to the championship? I'll have to see it to believe it.
-
That's a region that will not have a team in the championship . . .
