Quite a story about the FSN crew coming back from Baudette. Their minivan rolled four times by Blackduck (30 minutes north of Bemidji) after hitting a snowbank that blew over the road. Everyone's OK. Yikes.

I figure it somehow has to do with the Gophers/cahones thing . . .

I have PBTV so I can get FSSN and a few high def channels - so no Charter Main St. for me. Every great once in a while, there's a BSU game on channel 17. CC Sweeps - easy.

Has anyone went to the "new" Ticket Exchange via Ticketmaster now that the REA one is no longer? I believe I followed the directions correctly, but didn't find any private party tickets for sale. Maybe it's me - maybe not?

Michigan/Miami is on CSTV Friday at 7pm. AA/Mankato is on Charter Main Street both nights. Even it it helps the Sioux, I still don't think I could cheer for Gopher victories.

Yep, he was standing in the entrance to section 114 prior to the game. One kid, who was wearing a Toews Blackhawks jersey and his dad came up to him and he signed his jersey. He was smiling, BSing and shaking hands. It's kinda funny that most fans passing by didn't notice who he was.

Is this through FSSN? In Bemidji, there's two cable companies. One is local (Paul Bunyan TV, which has FSSN) and one is Comcast. Comcast won't let Paul Bunyan cable air their shows because they're competitors . . .

No doubt . . . the first game would sell out if it were NW Texas State, but it would be an event if a WCHA team were there - especially an in-state or UND (under a two hr drive from Bemidji). If and when that day comes, it would be my feeling that you would ask a team that's been recently favorable to you to be the opponent. However, the UM team is the "crown jewel" in college hockey . . .

I had the same thought when I heard that. The almighty U of M won't belittle themselves to play a "lesser" in-state team, while UND, UMD and MSU have stepped up. Then, when the timing's right, we'll (UM) swoop in and act like we did BSU and big favor and receive all the accolades. No surprise their from the Gopher/FSN North PR Machine . . .

You can tell the difference very easily - the guys will have bigger boobs and the gals will have bigger bellys.
