  1. Well, I can't imagine he would referee any game involving Wisconsin, Denver, or St. Cloud St., so figuring that those 3 play conference teams, that takes up 3 more additional teams. So, the WCHA is down to the 2 other series for each weekend. Doesn't leave much room for lee-way. He'll have to ref those teams eventually.
  2. Eeesh, I didn't mean to start an argument. All I asked you was: What do you expect REA to do in that situation? Yes, it was ill-timed. We all agree on that. But what is REA supposed to do? They can't play music to drown the chant out, and as AZSioux said, you can't kick the entire student section out.
  3. I can't comment on the UND-UM game and the "F-The-Gophers" chant cause I don't remember hearing it on TV...But what do you expect REA to do in that situation? They can't play music to drown out the students because it will look tacky and un-professional in regards to REA for not respecting the national anthem and the National Guard personnel that carried the flags that night. And you know 4 ushers are not going to get 2,000+ students to sit down and be quiet. Let's be realistic. It was obviously uncalled for, but you have to move on. As for the Mankato chant of "F-The-Sioux", at least REA or the band doesn't start the background music to accompany the "F-The-Gophers" like they did at Mankato. From what I recall, the beat goes "F-The-Sioux"...beat, beat, beat/beat/beat...and repeat. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. I don't like the idea of having to play CC in its own backyard. That's the only WCHA team that scares me against UND right now. They are extremely fast and talented and I'm not sure we match up great with them. A lot has changed since we played, but it still wouldn't be a lot of fun. I'd prefer to go out East somewhere and play anyone on a neutral site, even if it is a WCHA team.
  5. I have 2 tickets available for the UND @ UM Friday night game on February 1st. I paid $31 or $32 for each ticket. So I am looking for about $64 in return just to cover my costs and service fees. If you are interested, feel free to post on here, email me at LeftyZL@hotmail.com or send me a PM. Thanks Also, I live in Duluth, if that makes the arrangements any easier.
  6. I have 2 Standing Room Only(SRO) tickets for the Friday, February 1st game. I've been taking offers for about a week. Make me an offer if you are interested.
  7. Me and some friends of mine are going to the Saturday game, we have tickets through the FSC club. A few questions: Where does the arena put the seats of the visiting team? Does anyone know the alcohol policy of the arena? How about where are fans staying? The Holiday Inn and Hilton Garden Inn have a skywalk connecting them to the arena, but are a little more expensive. Are there any other hotels in the area?
  8. Who has got score updates on the CC and Denver games?
  9. In fairness, the MTU player never touched/played the puck. So, technically it was interference. But it's a split-second decision for Finley and you gotta assume the guy would play the puck most of the time, if not every time.
  10. For as good of a goalie as Mike Lee is, if you were him would you want to come to a place that is scheduled to have a legit and solid goalie already(Eidsness) where only 1 year separates the 2 guys? Or would you like to go to SCSU where one goalie(Weslosky) will be a senior and the other(Dunn) will be a junior? It seems like a pretty simple decision to me. A goalie has to go where to his best option where he will get the most playing time. He's gotta get as much playing time as he can. Only 1 goalie gets to play per game where as 6 Defenseman and 12 Forwards play. He'll most likely have to watch for at least part of his first year, but after that, he should be the go-to goalie at SCSU.
  11. Call Me Stupid, but when I click on the link above after installing the "quizzes application" I get the following message: This quiz is for Leah L.'s friends only! What's the Deal?
  12. Apparently The Sicatoka hasn't been updating the Wiki board lately for us. Alex Evin isn't even on there.
  13. By Double Clicking On The Picture. I just did it on my computer and it went to full-screen.
  14. Brad put up a box score of the game on his site: UND Blog
  15. What, if anything, do you know about this kid? He didn't play when the USNDTP played against UM-Duluth last weekend, so I personally know nothing about him except for warm-ups. And neither goalie on the USNDTP impressed me too much in the 1 game I saw of the team.
  16. Just found this article, not relating to the Sioux Name Issue, but relating to the Sioux People instead. Apparently, Lakota people are no longer U.S. Citizens: Lakota Indians Withdraw U.S. Treaties
  17. I went and saw Kristo play last night against UMD, and the kid has scary good puck handling skills. Real good speed. Vision is there. He's pretty lanky right now(listed at 5'11"-166). The U-18 team has one great line IMO(Kristo, Schroeder, Saponari(?)). Minnesota is getting a great D-Man in Sam Lofquist. That kid has got a hard/heavy shot. Kristo assisted on the 1st goal by Lofquist. The 2nd U-18 goal went off of 3 different UMD players before going in their own goal. The U-18 team won 2-1. Not that I'm a hockey expert by any means. Also, I'm not sure if the whole U-18 team doesn't know that they are allowed to slow down. They fly up and down the ice constantly. Great transitioning. They're a smaller team than a WCHA team(obviously), but they just took the hits and kept moving. Fun hockey to watch. Terrible crowd(1000-1500).
  18. This is just a guess, but it's gotta be in the right area: 08 Draft by Kiper If not, 1/2 way down the left below the rotating pictures it says "Must Read", and it talks about the 08 Draft. That's another place to start. Here's that link: Main NFL Page
  19. I'm pretty sure that the salaries are from 2006, not 2007. That's what the links for each individual player say at least. That's why AP isn't on the list I would guess. On a side note, how is Richard Seymour getting $24+ million per year? That $1.5 million a game. Are you kidding me?
  20. I just went to the website, and you are still allowed to vote for Mr. Lennon. He is currently #2 in the D-2 section.
  21. You just ripped another Minnesota fan. Congrats.
  22. Having lived in Milwaukee, if Marquette is built on a hill, so is UND.
  23. Marto has played fine, nothing flashy to me...LaPoint pinches in on the play A LOT...hasn't been burned yet though.
  24. I think it's pictures of former Sioux players who are now in the pros. I could have sworn I saw ZPar and Greene on the rotating cubes.
