There are lots of DI schools besides MN & WIS. The only thing that sucks is they are the two closest.

I don't why you would - it doesn't say how many categories or places there were to start with. It's not a classic "mine's bigger" it's just a fact the nationally NDSU competes very well with any engineering school in the nation.

Here are just a few of the engineering awards that NDSU has won over the last year. I believe they have done well in the solar car race and winning it a few years ago. CIVIL ENG. North Dakota State University civil engineering students placed first last weekend at the Midwest Regional Steel Bridge Competition for the fourth year in a row. The seven-student team competed against eight other universities. The overall goal of the competition is to have a light, stiff and easy to assemble bridge. The rules change each year to give students a new test. NDSU

You sure are worried about the Bison. Keep comparing scores because that's all you're going to be able to do for the next several years.

Excess dome tax monies have to be used for the dome period. The dome has already expanded twice since it was build and this wouldn't be any different. IF the money is there and approved by the dome & city comm. the addition may be build. This new addition would give the dome an intermediate venue for smaller events and thus more event days. It gives NDSU a new bb arena that they will be paying 1/3 or more for. If the stars all line up it would be a win-win situation for both.

You forgot the best part, NDSU has nowhere to go but up and UND, well starting a DI independent schedule it will be down for a few years.

You forget that if a new venue is built next to the dome it will have a huge impact on bb attendance.

We'll see how the Sioux do when they have a full DI independence schedule.

It's the AG's office that decides on what to appeal. Apparently they think they have a case.

The AG's office determines whether to keep fighting the suit.

I don't have time to bring up all the lawsuits that the state has had to defend UND against.

The only reason you have a problem with Chapman is because of his leadership in expanding NDSU's prominence and you and UND feel threatened. Billing out the AG's lawyers at 56.00 per hour is a joke and everyone knows it.

Tim Brewster will be announced as the new FB coach for the Gophers at 1:00 pm. He's the former Tight End Coach for Denver.

Sure it's fine to bury the hatchet now that UND will need games. No, you made your bed now sleep in it. NDSU is doing great without UND, we'll see if same can be said for UND.

Valley City & Mayville were 2 schools that have ties to NDSU and scheduled us during our transition period. Besides fb why didn't UND schedule NDSU in anything during that period? Why should we help you with your transition? There's no upside to NDSU except in bb. attendance and that's only 2 games. Our fb attendance is close to selling out (over 16,000) and if we get into the gateway will be real close to selling out. Have fun!! PS: Don't you have USD as a partner or do you?
