  1. Yes but then consider that Eidness is younger and has a better GAA and save % than USHL goalies Kangas (minnesota recruit) Hogan (Michigan recruits) and Gundmandson (wiso recruit). And the USHL isn't a scoring league. Although it is up this year because of all the PP's. We'll leave the girl for Bucky.
  2. I was born in the wilderness of Eastern Ontario, in a log cabin that I helped my father build.
  3. This year the big difference is the goaltending. When some of the same problems existed early in the past two seasons Parise was winning games for them and rang up impressive numbers. It is not a problem that the coaches can resolve easily. They have three netminders to choose from and they get to see them in practice every day. The coaches demonstrated last night that despite the weak goals Lammy is still their number one. Unless I see one of the goalies get in a groove real soon I can't get optimisitic about a turn around this season.
  4. No one on this years team is ready to step directly into the NHL. The NHL is all about consistency at a much faster tempo, so if any one of these kids thinks he is already NHL material he is a big time dreamer.
  5. Maybe it wasn't a goalie after all. Did the shorter guy look more like the goalie or the guy in this link: http://ajhl.ab.ca/leagues/rosters_profile....playerID=203542 Did the lanky guy look like the guy in this link: http://www.ajhl.ab.ca/leagues/rosters_prof...playerID=226771
  6. This year the coaches have many problems on their hands. The last two years it was often difficult to figure out why the team wasn't winning. This year it is easy. No goaltending, defensive breakdowns, untimely penalties and a lack of production from the big guns. It will be interesting to hear how DH tries to put a positive spin on this weekend.
  7. The flounder was left flapping on the ice again.
  8. Another WCHA call as the hand pass went to a Badger.
  9. Perhaps he has numb cheeks too.
  10. Bina really is a scoring machine. Get him out on the PP more often.
  11. Which ones.
  12. Usually, if there is too much bounce in them it is because they aren't frozen enough. Alright who's been sitting on the puck bucket.
  13. Try some Schapps and the fuzziness will slowly leave the picture and move somewhere else.
  14. Squeaked through the five hole.
  15. Dumb penalty
  16. Did you see how high on his paint Elliot played that one. No net for Porter to hit.
  17. Win or lose it's for the best.
  18. Great start. Aren't the Sioux undefeated when Miller scores or did that streak end already?
  19. Can you hear me now.
  20. I guess Hak believes that the only way this team is going to be successful in the second half is if Lammy can get into a groove. No time better than tonight as time is running out.
  21. The AJHL isn't typically as strong as the BCHL but it still produces some diamonds in the rough. More recent Sioux that come to mind were Roche and Commodore.
  22. Perhaps it was a certain Goalie from the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The coaches know they have to address this position.
  23. It may have to come to that depending on how the kid performs tomorrow.
  24. TH just said that the difference in the game was the two weak second period goals. DH concurs that Lammy should have stopped the shots.
  25. Blame who you want but they don't have Parise type goaltending this season and they are going to need it if this team is to have any hope at turning it around.
