I have to disagree with one of Hak's comments. If the pressure from coaches or anyone else is getting to Lammy then he needs a break. Successful goalies have to play through stress and adversity regardless of where it is coming from. Recall how cool and collected both Karl and Jordy always were.

I would pity the fool who would even try.

These stats do tell a lot of the story and on most successful teams goaltending is often your best penalty killer.

Please share with us why you believe the next few years will be bleak when some of the top prospects are headed this way. All this team needs to find is some consistent goaltending.

I think your team will do alright. The goaltending is the only question mark and I think it helps that two eligible players who in many ways either acted or were treated above the rest of last year's team won't be back. Based on what I know of the talent across the pond this season, I will be shocked if the Gold doesn't return to North America this year.

If you are a decent beer league player this is your opportunity to say you suited up for a DI game against the Denver Pioneers and some future Pros. For three lucky guys it will be a night to remember.
