Agreed, and being able to pop back up quickly is what made Karl so great despite his stature.
-
He had no idea what was transpiring in front of him because from his knees he couldn't see a thing. If he had gotten back up he might have been able to get into position. Sadly, even on his knees he isn't big enough to cover the whole net like an Elliot.
-
Lammy on his knees flapping like a flounder again.
-
Toews, won't get a point but thanks to him taking the punishment in front of the net Elliot didn't have a clear view of what was going on.
-
Need to get traffic in front of Elliot.
-
Obviously the Badgers are going to get away with the clutch and grab in their end. But not a Slash
-
And here I thought Don Adams was making something up again.
-
With the energy and speed that Genoway brings every game he has made it impossible for the coaches to keep him out of the lineup. The forwards are all healthy so I guess Radke is the odd man out. Perhaps we will see some goals from the blueline tonight.
-
Poor Travis Roche, he was finally getting some decent playing time and looking like he fit in with a big club and now he is out with a concussion. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10460&hubname=

The Sioux had better be ready to play 60 minute games this weekend. The Badgers are going to play desperate hockey as two more losses could have very serious consequences for the remainder of their season. Lammy has always wanted and believed he deserved the number one job in net and there is no better time than this weekend to prove himself.

Like Prpich, Downie will make the hits and get under the other teams skin if it will help his team win. Like Prpich, he will always give 100% effort and isn't well liked by the other teams' fans. I am glad they both play(ed) for my teams.

I guess someone else is going to get Winnipeg's Wade Poplawski. He has progressed into the leading D man in the MJHL this year and based on his comments in this article you can tell that he was hoping to get some interest from the WCHA. http://www.mjhlhockey.ca/news_item.aspx?ne...60&team_id= http://www.mjhlhockey.ca/stats.aspx
-
He was so talented that he even faked a concussion. Wow. I guess you weren't a Prpich fan either.
-
The three big hitters from last year Bourdon, Staal and Downie are back and ready to sit Ogopogo on his behind. I wonder if Cheapshot Jack (Johnson) will get a little bit of payback chin music from Downie. I believe you personally have had a close enough look at Canadian players to know that they aren't intimidated by Minnesotans.
-
That is a very likely scenario as team Canada returns five D-men and six forwards from last years team as well.
-
See my last post.
-
Actually, I found proof for you that he was called up following the injury to Letowski. Also there is the issue of how may veteran players suit up for AHL teams on any given night. http://www.newsobserver.com/796/story/499351.html

I didn't imply that Bayda was called up for Stillman, I am implying that he will be the player sent down.
-
Can we discuss the Bruins' Rookie hazing on this forum.
-
Stillman is about to return to Carolina's lineup so lets see if Bayda mysteriously reappears in Albany's lineup for their next game.
-
I believe he means the stunned individual in this link: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=187225&hubname=

Select Games only and their HD schedule is at the following link: http://www.indemand.com/sports/nhl/schedul...lScheduleHD.pdf As far as there coverage of extra games like the WJT Center Ice doesn't usually list them on their schedule until closer to the game date. Watch for 27 Dec at 1230 Grand Forks time for the matchup between Canada and USA.
-
That may be true of Team USA games but the Team Canada games should all be live.
-
Agreed, there have been intermittent broadcasts of US games live or delayed, and on various channels. To clarify, the only constant over the past several years has been live games on Center Ice.

I get my hockey news off of TSN and he is on this Carolina roster: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/roster/?hubname=nhl-hurricanes
