I was thinking that it would be real funny if the Gophers one move wonder found himself all alone on Tony and got both stoned and barfed on for his trouble. But then it wouldn't be funny for very long as the barf would merely blend in with the rest of his uniform.

This was more like how do we get one of our poor little Hockey East teams into the Final Four. IF they play like they did this weekend the Sioux will light up the Michigan goaltending like a Christmas tree. Go Sioux.

If you want to go back to when he signed his letter of intent I got laughed at by some members for trying to portray what a special player he was going to be.

Based on what I saw of their play they struck me as a bunch of lads who were just seeking a little bit of weekend recreation so I voted for Blarneys.

It merely shows me that despite what they like to claim how little the people of Mpls-StP really know about the hockey that is going on around them. So I say

He had lots of nice things to say about the Sioux to TH during the second intermission, besides the play with pride he said the Sioux have the most skill in the league and that it always wins the big games at this time of the year. Finally, now that he is no longer coaching, he conceded that next to his Huskies the Sioux were always his favorite other team. The usual trolls who lurk on this board got to watch the best two freshmen forwards in the NCAA this weekend and I guess it has left them speechless.

Thats it, the Goofs have the McNaughton curse now. For not touching the cup they won't win another championship this year.

Funny how there is no sign of them tonight.

What the one move wonder didn't make the team. I thought he always got awards just for showing up.

The Freshman know how to win in the playoffs now on to the big one.

Leaked that Parise, Smaby and Oshie made the tourney team and that Parise is the tourney MVP. Hope that is true.

That was real purdy. The freshmen look like seniors to me.

Too many wobbly pops for Tony-O. He still does beer commercials in Canada. TH has Fabian as his intermission guest and complimented him on making the All-Academic team with a 3.74 as a Math major.

Given what they have been through to get here I am impressed that St Cloud has any energy left. We'll see if they can stay with the Sioux for three periods.
