  1. Oh great they'll all be coming out of the woodwork (or little damp holes) and once again we'll have to hear all about the one move wonder, that the Don told his hairdresser Johnson will definitely wear the Goofy uniform, that Frazzled is being run out of town in favor of Kangass etc. etc etc. How about this time we talk about all the phenomenal Holy Cross draft picks instead.
  2. Nothing better to do on a summer day or did you guys lose your Skippy site again.
  3. By any chance are you trying to wake the trolls.
  4. I figured this is a topic unto itself and here is Ottawa's article on Lee. http://www2.ottawasenators.com/eng/news/re...newsItemID=1149
  5. I hope you meant to type an A instead of an L but they are on opposite sides of the keyboard. If you meant to type an L, the WCHL would be a step back for Toews and will never happen.
  6. It probably won't hurt Greene's time but in addition to Lupul the Oilers also picked up the Duck's top D prospect. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/bio/?i...bname=nhl-ducks
  7. I just hope we don't read about Lee leaving as well. He is here in Ottawa for the development camp and is clearly the teams top D prospect. Thanks to yesterdays signings the Sens find themselves at little thin at D The Elliot signing watch is on here as well.
  8. It looks like Commie has a home. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=170195&hubname=
  9. Hopefully, Jordy will sign into a more favorable situation. The Jackets had already invested their future in Leclaire and there was nothing that Karl could do about it.
  10. He showed enough to at least move on to the AHL. Many NHL teams including NJ are lacking any depth at the position so he will get the chance to prove himself at the next level.
  11. But which one should be wearing the mask.
  12. My buddies, may seem like hillbillies to a mint julep sipping twinkie like yourself; however, I recently had a peek at your teams fan site and weak would be a very generous description for it.
  13. I thought slinging suds at Blarneys would be the obvious choice He could wow them with tales of how in the good old days he lit up Norway and Alaska-Anchorage.
  14. Pencil me on your list right after the TRIOUXPER. More importantly do us all a favor, don't return in September. Start following the Bruins chat instead and you can enjoy their views on the cupcake their team just drafted.
  15. Per the article in this link with the fifth pick of the 2006 draft, the Goofs in fact beat Holy Cross 14-0 for drafted players http://www.startribune.com/508/story/517189.html You could reverse the score if you would prefer discussing character and moral fiber
  16. Both Oshie and Toews demonstrated they were better players which has left egg on the face of both the WCHA and the NCAA. This thread is about Toews so lets stop talking about the One Move Bruin. Any debate on the subject ended a few months ago in the REA.
  17. Like their solution for everything else they do why not sweep it all under the carpet. It never happened.
  18. The Pubs in Boston are big league compared to Blarney's so who needs a signing bonus.
  19. Florida picks Lapoint #116
  20. Has he committed
  21. Forney was the 80th pick by the Atlanta Thrashers
  22. I guess the injuries must have hurt Forney's stock because he didn't get selected in the second round either.
  23. He was at the top of the European list so perhaps you were looking at their North American list only.
  24. Forney did not go in the first round as NJ picked an OHL D-man. Please bear with me as I blow my own horn. This time last year I stated that UND was getting the better prospect in Toews and you can review any old thread you would prefer on the subject. When it comes to a draft 3 is > 5. Thank you very much. I noticed that the dependable Vancouver jerks booed absolutely everything except Ovechkin. Go figure. When asked who they believe will get signed immediately from this draft the TSN Announcers only indicated two players, Eric Johnsson and Nicklas Backstrom.
  25. Harry Sinden should have been turfed 20 years ago.
