Average attendance for the season ended up being 7,485 which is the lowest season average since the Alerus opened. The best attended game was the opener against Robert Morris. On one hand, not surprising given the poor product that has been on the field the last several years. On the other hand, I actually thought we would have had a bit of an increase over last year with the coaching change and the fact that fans were treated to some pretty entertaining home games all year except for the Weber game. There was actually an 11% drop in attendance this season. Not a good trend. Need to right the ship and start winning to get the fans back. I think we are on the right track. Attendance was 5,916. Those that came were treated to a helluva game. That was a lot of fun. It sure was a satisfying feeling to be playing good football against a good team again. Can't say enough about the way Jer Garmen played yesterday, and for the last 3-4 weeks for that matter. The kid must have been battling something, because he was dry-heaving over the garbage can on the sidelines just a matter of minutes before he broke off that 78 yard run. Now lets finish strong against UNC, and hit the off season with some positivity..............

Didn't see or listen to the game, but just looking over the stats seems like a good showing despite shooting just 35% and being without 3 guys that figure to be contributors during conference play (Tyler, Stefan, and Shanks).....

Season gets underway for the ladies tonight as well at 7:00. I'm not a great women's basketball mind, but saw that Colorado was ranked 10 in the PAC 12 preseason poll, so could be a winnable game. Supposed to be a webcast on the PAC 12 site.

Herald article says Nash, Hooker, de Rouen, Coleman, and Salmonson will start at UNI. Also, on the coaches show last night, Jones said part ox the reason for all the away games to start the season is because they needed a lot of money games to raise cash for a trip that the team is going to take to Italy next summer.

They called 35 run plays and 34 pass plays. That is hardly run.....run.....pass. The players aren't getting it done.

I'm no recruiting guru, but it seemed everytime someone committed over the last 7 years everyone was talking about what a great class Mussman put together every season. Obviously that was not the case.

Let's watch the language and also understand how foolish one can look for saying "LOL" at a team for going 33-1 in their last 34 games. I'm not sure in what world that makes any sense at all.

Agree. And they were one of the worst run defenses in the Big Sky the last two years. Even though it seems like the D may be running out of gas as the season winds down, its turnaround overall is quite remarkable.......

Yes they have done very well. Kramer seems to have success no matter where he lands. Neither EWU or Montana St were real great before he got there........

EWU beat the Griz. Idaho St beat Cal Poly Northern Arizona beat UC Davis Montana St over Portland St Sac beats SUU Southern Illinois beat Missouri St Sun Devils smoked the Irish 4 teams with 1 loss in conference play in the Big Sky Big game next weekend on ROOT between Montana St and Idaho St. Who would have guessed at the beginning of the season that game would be of such magnitude?

I actually like the play calling this season. Just don't have the talent to execute it most of the time right now, especially now with the ridiculous number of injuries. The one thing that is missing that I don't understand is a screen pass. When you have limited talent at WR, proper execution of screen passes can mask a lot of problems.........

I still think the offensive line is the biggest weakness. Embarrassing today. So many injuries. UND nowhere near deep enough to withstand all the these injuries and defections........

It is quite empty in here. Pretty weak in the tailgating lots. I don't kno what hurts worse: deer hunting I losing by 50+ last week. However, any hunter worth his salt should have his deer by now......

That's a bold expectation.........,
