  1. Mike McFeeley is all over the Travis Beck situation on his twitter account. Looks like he is not giving up any time soon.
  2. Volume was much better, very loud and I loved it.
  3. UND needs to win. Win and they will come. Personally I thought there would be more people there at the Potato Bowl. But, what it taught me is that the casual fan still needs something to grab their attention again after an average transition. Gotta keep getting W's.

Love that you guys are so open about stuff. Great job!

Thanks for the update on that situation - Matt did an awesome job with it. Any thoughts on the intro video/music? I have started a thread on this forum about it. You guys did a great job with it but there were a few common thoughts that people had to tweak it and make it even better. Volume was one of them. Keep up the good work Jayson!
  6. Here is a response on Bison Media Blog from Tom Becka of 101.9 about him being rude at the press conference, as Pom Pom's Kolpack said on twitter: Add yet another media member who thinks NDSU screwed up. Of course the only one who doesn't is Pom Pom's.
  7. For the last time: I highlighted the part that is riling up everybody in Fargo and GF, including KFGO, the Forum, and most every caller to the local radio stations. Now, out of nowhere, after being coach for 9 seasons, he decides for the first time ever to "let stuff play out". Possibly for 5-6 months - when it involves 4 starters and the week he is playing an FBS team. You have to admit, like most callers on the radio have said, that the timing of his decision looks horrible for him and GT.
  8. Lets hope some tweaks were made to the timing of the intro and the volume level. Volume should be easy. They are so close to having it perfect that I really hope they made the minor adjustments needed!
  9. Maybe I didn't make my point clear. Why did those two not get a chance to go to trial and see if they really were guilty? He suspended Mohler and kicked Haynes off but now he does neither for these guys.
  10. Since it was not violence or drugs, it is OK to let them play. Straight from Bohl's mouth. He is setting himself up for an epic fall.
  11. The reason why everyone wants a judgement is because Bohl has never once used the "let it play out" excuse before. Where was that line with Jose Mohler or Haynes? Now, when its 4 starters and they are playing an FBS team, its time to "let it play out". You seem to forget that they have been "charged". Not just investigated.
  12. Stenehjem said in an interview that it was obvious the pen and handwriting was the same in multiple situations.
  13. When is Bohl going to finally come down on them? I keep hearing they will be dealt with eventually. My guess is he will suspend them for a random game in the middle of this year. Why you ask? Because there is no way he is suspending them for the opener next year vs. Kansas State. Look for him to pick some random, aakward time this coming fall, probably vs. Missouri State on Nov. 3rd. Coach Bohl is going down a slippery slope with this precdent he is setting. He already has Jemison's Dad, a former NDSU player himself, calling out the program in the Forum today. This is the same type of situation that eventually did Rocky in. He looked the other way for the sake of winning so many times that it got to be too much and he was gone.
  14. If this is a serious issue, lets see if Bohl is the man that everybody thinks he is. Lets see if he has the cajones to suspend the players due to the charges being filed. He has suspended players for a minor in possession before and this would be no different.
  15. To be fair, they are much improved. They won their bowl game last year. But I agree, did not see SUU looking that bad.
  16. With all the little triangle shaped sideline advertising, I thought that Roger Dorn bought the team.
  17. I am going to give my honest review of last nights intro music/production in hopes that it gets seen by somebody at UND. My thoughts have been echoed by a couple others. Not a large sample size but not just my thoughts either: 1. Loved the whole lead up to the walk-out, etc. Very good production of old highlites. Very good. 2. Picking "Back in Black" was a great call....but here is the problem. TURN UP THE VOLUME! Make people jump out of their seats. I could barely hear it. 3. "Back in Black" should be the main song and their should be a silent 5-10 seconds before it comes on. Then, everyone should hear the guitar rift louder than hell to get them off their seat. What they did is simply blend Back in Black into the other noise so it took me 10-15 seconds before I figured out what the song was. Needs to be the focus of the walk-out, not just a little part of it. 4. Need to show Mussman leading them out of the tunnel, not just some players after Mussman is already by the camera. 5. Have Mussman line up and get them ready. Stop the music. Camera on Mussman......then........BOOOM.....Back in Black louder than a mother-fuker! Need to build anticipation before Back in Black. This is the way that every school does their walk-out and UND is very close but just some minor tweaks would make it perfect. Like I said, very good overall production just some volume and timing issues could be easily tweaked.
  18. There was all of 3000 students there. 2 full sections to the top plus another top half and a quarter of the bands section.
  19. I am taking off shortly as well! Can't wait to see the new turf and uni's.
  20. Dustin Iverson of Grant County already committed.
  21. What makes me frustrated is that apparently Midco addressed the issue for hockey and the coaches show but not for football. I want to see the football games through DirecTV has I have in the past and now I cannot. Watching through the internet is not nearly as good.
  22. Fairly certain, per a member of the staff, that UND got around $300,000 for the Texas Tech game. I am thinking $350,000 but I want to be safe and say 300,000. I know it was not 225k.
  23. Lets clear something up: Nobody plays an easier non-conference schedule than NDSU. Nobody plays worse FBS teams than NDSU - GT has even come out and said that they only schedule FBS games they think they can win. UND's non-conference schedule in 2013 is very good.
  24. UND already has 11 games with 7 at home. They open with Valpo, South Dakota State, and Montana - all at home. They then have a bye the week that was discussed. Montana State at home is after the bye. No reason to go down to USD for a 12th game and lose a bye week doing it. That stretch of games would be ridiculously tough. EDIT: Look at the home schedule in 2013 - unbelievable: SDSU, Montana, Montana State, and Eastern Washington.
  25. UND is not changing their style of play. I don't know where you read that but your entire post is based on a false information. They are working on passing early because that is an area that needs the most work right now. They will run the ball 35-40 times if its working.
