Great recap PCM. Anybody else think that if the Sioux play Denver on Saturday night Denver has no chance. From hearing Matt and Rory's comments about Denver I'd be scared to lace up my skates if I was Denver. I hope this happens because I don't think the Sioux would allow Denver to beat them and Robbie would not let if happen. Bring on the Goofs first!!!

I agree with PCM here. Like was said Hak was a defenseman. So whats the big deal if he lets Eades work with the forwards. Obviously Hak has the last say but why not get advice from his assistants and if he likes it he uses it just like every coach. Give him credit because he deserves it. He has taken criticism all year and now has the troops playing their best hockey when it matters most.
-
How about Ammerman for next year? As far as I know he has not signed anywhere and wouldn't be a bad back up plan. Both him and Hardwick wouldn't be too bad.
-
I with PCM as well but the most disturbing thing to me and it may have already been mentioned a few times but I can't say it enough. There was a DELAYED PENALTY ON THE PLAY AND THE PLAY IS BLOWN DEAD THE MOMENT A UND PLAYER TOUCHES THE PUCK. ANYONE WITH HALF A BRAIN SHOULD KNOW THAT THAT ISN'T THE TIME YOU NEED TO FINISH YOUR CHECK!!!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CAN READ #28.

Federov Can you send it to me at jeffreyb9@hotmail.com. Thanks.

I know we all are feeling for Robbie tonight but everyone have a toast for him and send one up for him tonight. I say this because I was his neighbor and hope him the best. So for everyone on this board send one up for him tonight and pray that we see number 28 on the ice again. God bless #28!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't think it matters how Lammy plays. Everyone knows JPAR the man right now and the team seems like they know that too judging by all the comments they made after the game last night. I just hope Lammy plays well to give JPAR a well needed break.
-
Goon beat me to it.
-
The reason Hak said that JPAR wasn't going to start today was because of mental issues. He said it is mentally draining on a goalie to play three days in a row and I would agree. I would rest him and play Lammy. Lammy is definitely mentally fresh and could use some experience and getting a big time start in the Semi's at the F5 would be good for him win or lose.

I know that Wisc. dropped to a tie for 15th in the Pairwise after last nights game but as much as I hate them I think they are deserving and it would be tough for them not to get in the NCAA's. I thought Wisc. played extremely well tonight and I believe they could compete with anyone in the country. Anyways the Sioux are in and the Badgers have to wait it out. Give some Pio arse. Lets go Sioux.
-
Sorry guys but thanks for the info. I was only looking for the 8.25 ticket and didn't think before I posted.
-
Anyone know of anywhere to find tickets to Friday nights semi. I am going down to the games and would like to go to that game as well. I would like nothing better than seeing CC pound the Goofs. Ticketmaster had that game as the only one sold out.

I did everything as bad as I could for UND such as Vermont winning their tournament and Northern Michigan winning theres and Maine winning and I had UND losing to Wisc. and UND was ninth at the end. But of course Vermont and Northern Michigan would take spots from the 12 or 13 in the Pairwise. I think it looks good for Sioux fans.

I wouldn't say Peluso is a goon but I know what I saw on Saturday in the last few minutes of the game and it was Peluso on his last shift and all he wanted to do was fight. I was sitting with a UMD fan and he said the same thing. Peluso's whole goal that last shift was to get someone to drop the gloves and I am sure glad it didn't work.

I agree with you that Matt Greene and all our defenseman are playing extremely well right now but I thought Matt Smaby was a monster this weekend. When he moves his feet like that and doesn't reach he is a great defensemen. He just needs to work on his feet for quickness and he would become much more consistent.

I was in Phoenix last year for spring break and I watched the games at RT O'Sullivans I believe. There was pretty many Sioux fans there. There are also many other places that show the games as well. I recommend calling first to make sure. I am not really sure where its located but Iknow it was a pretty good time.

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that the Thursday winner is going to have to play Friday afternoon. No wonder why no team has ever won who has to play in the play in game.
-
Anyone know why Duncan is playing in the Canadian Junior league rather than the USHL. I was also wondering if anyone knows how the USHL and the BCHL or any other Canadian league compare because Duncan and Watkins and Kozek sure are putting up huge numbers and was wondering if the league is not nearly as talented as the USHL.

After watching the state tournament, I think I would rather have Vandevelde next year than Oshie. I think Vandevelde is more ready than Oshie is.
-
Anybody else think that Vandevelde was phenomenal last night. I might have to change my vote to him over Oshie now. Anyways that was the third time I saw him play and it was by far his best game. He must of had 10 or more shots on night and probably could have scored 6. At one point Lou Nanne was talking about him breaking the record for shots on goal in a game. He had I think 4 or 5 shots on goal in one shift in which Moorehead was shorthanded. He played amazing as did the whole Moorehead team.
-
I saw Connelly and Hummell last night and I wasn't impressed. The only ones I haven't seen are Anderson, Dee and Ambroz. I've heard about Anderson and Dee but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this Ambroz kid. I predict Oshie wins.

His press conference isn't until Friday now delaying this crap even longer. Just get it over with already Phil.
-
I think the only reason the decision is taking so long is because he always was going to Minny but had all the Wisc. stuff in the back of his mind. It took long because he has all the abuse he will get from the Badger backers in the back of his mind. If it was a decision between say Minny and UND the decision would have been made a long time ago.

There is an article on USCHO that says Kessel will choose today and has a press conference set for tomorrow. Sources say its the Goofers.
