Yes. That’s exactly what happened.

The power play and empty net play on that ice looks like a tough defend deal. Bubbs said can’t get box too spread out and open lanes. But not pressuring puck allows so much time to set things up. Can’t do both! Overall we did well enough but I sure was on edge of my seat during that play.

With no UND players to follow- rooting hard for USA is a little difficult I gotta admit. It’s USA but rooting for all our competition just weird.

Duluth carried the on ice play by far in 3rd when tied. But NE controlled faceoffs and Duluth just can’t finish despite multiple chances. NE did on very few tries for the win.
