  1. 9 runs off 6 hits and 4 UNC errors.
  2. UND is up 4-0 going to the bottom of the 5th.
  3. UND holds on 8-7.. Whew!
  4. UND 8-5 going to the bottom of the 9th
  5. UND split with Chicago State on Friday and came from behind yesterday winning in 10. http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/263963/ UND ends the regular season 23-21-1, heading to NJ this week for Great West postseason.
  6. Welcome to UND Berto... http://www.hudl.com/athlete/217589/highlights/33600375

  8. It does not look like UND and the Summit are talking. In the past three months UND has joined the WAC in two sports that the Summit offers and in which they could have used affiliates. Granted Summit S/D doesn't NEED members, but baseball does. UND is solidifying conference memberships and affiliations. Walking away from those commitments is not likely at this point. For 2013-2014 Big Sky for all sports except as listed below... Men's Hockey - NCHC Women't Hockey - WCHA Baseball - WAC Mens and Womens S/D - WAC Mens Golf - America Sky
  9. UND comeback and score 1 in the seventh and 3 in the eighth to beat Chicago State 5-4 in a rain soaked game. Campbell with two homeruns, one of which was inside the park.

  11. Getting a little ahead here, since 2013 hasn't ended yet, but I've become more interested in UND Baseball over the past couple of months, especially with UND joining the WAC next year as an affiliate. Can't wait to see the schedule with the new conference mates and non conference games, likely against the other Dakota schools. 2014 WAC Baseball CSU Bakersfield Chicago State Grand Canyon New Mexico State North Dakota Northern Colorado Sacramento State Seattle Utah Valley UT Pan American Since UND isn't usually at home the first part of season anyway, there are a lot of nice travel destinations to start the year.
  12. The scandal that wasn't...http://deadspin.com/how-north-dakota-lost-its-mind-over-a-choke-job-504008586?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow At end of the controversy, UND came out looking pretty good and by most accounts did the right thing.
  13. http://www.northlandsnewscenter.com/sports/REPORT-Cloquets-Calcaterra-to-Transfer-to-UND-207654001.html Welcome Chad.
  14. I'm beginning to think Douple will have little choice but to invite NJIT. The Great West will pretty much be gone after this year with Chicago State, Utah Valley and UTPA all going to the WAC. I don't believe NJIT has been invited anywhere else yet and they are a baseball playing school.
  15. http://www.grandfork...ublisher_ID/40/ For the second weekend in a row UND took 3 out of 4 games against a Great West team. This past weekend, UND beat NJIT. UND now stands at 20-19-1 overall and 10-10 in the Great West. This marks the first time since turning Division I that UND has won 20 games.
  16. What does a recent defector think?....http://forum.orusports.com/index.php/topic/9387-oakland-u-to-join-horizon-league-on-tuesday/
  17. UND wins 25-5. Lockhert drives-in record 10 in rout of NJIT - UNDSports.com: Official Web Site of University of North Dakota Athletics Not only did a UND player, Lockhert, set a school RBI record, but the thing that caught my eye was that the NJIT pitcher struck out a D-I high 20 strike-outs in his last game. He went just 3 innings against UND.
  18. UND leading 25-3 in the 7th against NJIT.
  19. Dan, Stu had a dream... http://stuviews.tumb...ost/50031635302 The D-I NCC with Augie.
  20. Here is the January request for the demolition of the old REA, which was apprvoed in March. http://ndus.edu/uploads/resources/3730/21-und-old-rea-demolish-final.pdf
  21. In response to a tweet from SFI... The board approved demo March 7th.... http://www.ndus.noda...e-materials.pdf
  22. The Southern Conference is losing the College of Charleston, Appalachian State, Davidson and Georgia Southern. They appear to be taking East Tennessee State and Mercer University from the Atlantic Sun and VMI from the Big South Conference. The Atlantic Sun will be down to 8 members and likely looking to find new schools to fill the void. They are in somewhat of the same predicament that the Summit is in, with few available Division I schools in their footprint. Since Florida Gulf Coast did well in this years BB tournament, they have cash to spread around and they also have prime recruiting areas in the Southeast. Could they be looking for members in Indiana?
