In 1983 UND was knocked out at home in OT against Wisconsin. I don't recall it being similar to the Bina goal, but they did score shorthanded. They scored the apparent game winner only to have it negated by a curved stick ruling. They were then shorthanded due to the penalty for the curved stick and scored. Wisconsin went on to win the NCAA championship in GF that year. I was sitting next to the Wisconsin bench and remember the Wisconsin goalie, Kleissinger or Behrend?, yelling at the Sioux fans as they went through the tunnel.

Missing from list. Jim Archibald, I think he wore 15 and 21?? One of the most hated Sioux by the other teams. Ultimate enforcer. Troy Murray. I don't recall his number. He didn't play long at UND, but did spend about 15 years in the NHL.

I envy all who got to see the game and thank all who posted to keep me informed of the action. I was in and out of the room too much with kids to really listen. It is much easier to pull up a page of posts and catch the action.

Dropping the Men's Swimming is more of a surprise than the loss of lacrosse. It was non-scholarship and been a sport at Butler since 1928. It looks as though the Horizon will be looking for another swim team.

I see this list keep growing, which is great, but how many scholarships are available? Are we getting near capacity? Also, I don't see too many ND kids on the list. Is this a down year for ND HS football?

Will this weekends games be webcast anywhere? This has probably already been asked, but I'm too lazy to look through a 19 page thread.
