I was wondering when somebody was going to ask that! The Condcordia coach said something about them being an NHL line. Murray was drafted the Kings, Zach by the Devs, and Bo by the Sens - hence the Kings-Devs-Sens or the KDS line. Could also have the LANJO line (LA-New Jersey-Ottawa) or The DOK line (Devs-Ottawa-Kings, pronounced like 'doc', the short form of doctor, because the boys have their PhDs in scoring and they're schoolin' the rest of the NCAA ). or the KODa line (Kings-Ottawa-Devs, with a lower case 'a' added at the end to sound like North DaKODa). A bad half-rhyme I admit, but what the hey.

Leaves Brady out, but how about the 7-11 line? Just get us the puck, we're open all night! Or how about the KDS line?

Yeah, but Prpich's only at UND for the hockey program...with a major like mechanical engineering, he obviously isn't taking academics seriously. That's a story I'm sure will never be found on INCH's website.

satellite system - $200 36" TV -$800 Not having to see or hear wig-boy or male member-head in a Sioux victory over UMN -priceless

Looks like the infamous "I lost sight of the puck" phrase finally worked in favor of the good guys for once.

What I saw was Greene trying to close his glove on the puck while still outside the crease, but carrying it into the crease while traitor Irmen the vermin either cross-checks or checks from behind Jolly Greene and puck comes loose and goes into the net. It seems that either a penalty shot (although as I say the puck was not in the crease when Greene made contact with it) or a penalty on Irmen the vermin should have been the called. It does not seem to me a goal should be allowed in any case as either the ref blew the whistle before the puck went in or if play (and the ref's attention) continued, a penalty should be called as the puck went in on an illegal hit.

Yeah, so smart that I had to edit my post to correct my spelling of 'Sioux', of all words. I've got the satellite feed on the TV too. With SOUND too tonight!!! Hope I'm not being set up for a fall. Got get 'em boys! Kick some yellow vermin arse!

I'm listening to the UND pre-game from this site's (SiouxSports.com) football home audio link.

AMEN!!!

See, I told you that UMN was college hockey's team Al-Qaida!

Both...and smelly like Frenchmen! Yeah...that's the ticket!

Many reasons. Uncle Ralph built the REA for hockey, not to be a multipurpose arena. I think the ice will suffer. Not only do the hockey players play in the REA main arena, they also practice there. More BB games in the main arena will interfere with that. The club levels in the main arena will be behind the backboards. Not exactly premo seats for premo seat prices. I think it's best to have BB play and practice on the same floor. If the new BB/VB facility proves too small, then the new facility should be built to be expandable. To my eye, it looks like that is what has been done. It looks to me like it should not be a big deal to virtually double the new facility's seating capacity. Hockey is king at UND. Its revenues fund pretty much all the other sports. In order for hockey to continue as a cash cow, it needs to be one of the nation's premier programs (to keep butts in the seats). That means don't do anything to make recruits want to go play elsewhere (like deny hockey players access to their own facilities).

Yeah, you're probably right. It is a little over the top. I like the France one better anyway because it's my response to vermin apologists that claim that they're universally hated because their team is always so good. I reply "Yeah, putz, that's why France is universally despised too. They're so much better than everyone else. Gee, you think maybe the real reason is because they think they're better than everyone else?"

How 'bout: Minnesota: College Hockey's Team Al-Qaida Or Minnesota: The France of College Hockey

I ask about the sound because I just bought a satellite system and I could not get the sound for either the UND football game or the hockey game on Saturday (didn't have the system up for Friday's game). Other feeds from that satellite had both picture and sound without any problem, so I was just wondering if Senser's experienced the same problem I did for the UND feed. Not that it is a big problem since it looked like it was going to be Sweeney not Hennessey if the sound did work. Instead, I just listened to the Tims on internet audio, which is what I would have done anyway if the satellite feed audio was Sweeney. RW77, I have season tix to the Ralph (which somebody always uses, even if it's not me), but to get up there from the TC for every game is really difficult. I go to as many as I can swing and plan to watch the others from home, if satellite broadcast.

YaneA, yes, both of these would be an improvement upon my suggestion. GE, it's more local than just the state as all three played HS hockey in GF. And there is a big difference in merely not playing for the Sioux and deciding to play for the yellow menace to the SE.

The Triumvirate of Treason: Potulny, Potulny, & Irmen Don't bother coming back boys! Reason for Lucia's 'do: Hides his horns

01grad, Was the sound working at Senser's for the game broadcast?
-
Was there sound at Senser's this weekend (last night especially)?
-
I don't know if they had any really go against them, but from what I saw, they sure as heck didn't get any home cookin'!

I thought DL made the smart decision at the time. It didn't turn out very well unfortunately. I also think that Masek had a very fair game. I believe his completion % was under 50%. His arm appeared to be very weak. I also thought Joe Montana was a weak armed @#^$%&^%*$& but he turned out to have a pretty good career, so what do I know?

Again, not to split hairs , but I don't think DB plays mind games for this reason. His actions (or perhaps more accurately, reactions) should not come as a surprise to anyone, especially his players. I think they all know, explained to them in plain English by DB himself, what is expected of them, AND what may result if they fail to live up to expectations. Sure, he might not understand goalies, but who the hell does?
-
No sound again for the hockey game, but it looked like if would have been Sweeney/Bredahl and I would have muted them in favor of an internet delayed Hennessey/O'Keefe anyway. No shame in being compared disfavorably to Tim/Tim. Those guys would put nearly every NHL p-b-p/color tandem to shame. One has to feel truly blessed as a Sioux fan knowing that the REA is our home arena, DB is our coach, TH is our play-by-play man, and Scott Hennen is our rink announcer. Time to show Minnecentric U that the Ralph is the home of your University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux!!! It's for sure that next weekend will present much more of a challenge than this weekend did.

Wow...take a deep breath (please!). Deano doesn't play mind games IMHO. If ever there was a human being with whom which one completely understands their standing it is one Coach Dean Blais. I think you might be looking at this from the wrong angle. I think Deano made the goalie switch so that Jaker didn't give up one where his team left him out to dry (which could well have happened given the non-competiveness of the game) thereby ruining his SO. Also, I think he wanted to show JP that he still had confidence in him regardless of last night's sub-standard (freshman) performance. I think you can take it for granted that had JP not responded in kind that he would not receive such consideration again in the near future. Bottom line is DB values game performance above all else, but attitude and work ethic follow as a close second. The last couple of years may not have ended as all of us would have liked. This has not shaken one bit my faith in DB, however. IMHO, he is the finest college hockey coach in the game today, and arguably, ever. To try to split hairs in a 10-0 Sioux victory is beyond belief.
