Also, a poster on USCHO.com stated that he had personally talked to the Minot State AD and the AD personally admitted that MSU is looking at DII.

I believe that we are going to be seeing this happening. I wouldn't be suprised though if there are some conditions tied to the agreement, such as them leaving if all-sports teams are added or possibly even something like a 2 home/1 away for current NCC teams. Just some thoughts though.

John Bernstrom was just talking on the 10 o'clock news about Central and Western Washington joining the NCC for football. He said Interim AD Phil Harmeson stated that talks are going on. Apparently a vote could come at the next NCC meeting this spring and they would begin play the fall of 2006. I am not sure if it is available to be watched online.

NCAA News I believe they ment to type DII women's basketball is on ESPN.

Now that the hockey season is over, maybe people will remember we also have a football team. I have a feeling this is going to be a great season. Also, from what I understand DII is paying to have the semi-finals produced for TV this year. I am predicting a run at the National Championship again this year. At the worst I see us playing on ESPN2 for the semi-final. But, I am going to predict right now that we end up with our 2nd National Championship, at the least our 2nd National Runner Up! P.S. This is my 500th post!!!!!!!!

Wondering the same thing!?!?! It was an awesome season. It is always hard to see your team loose a championship but this year was a little different, we were never expected to be there. I was in Albany in 2001, that was hard to watch, this year not so much. I was proud to watch our team play on ESPN. All I can say is wait till next year. Denver tying us for 7 NC's just means we need to get the next one to make sure they don't pull ahead of us. I call we pull ahead of them again. On the bright side, the Gophers are still behind us in NCs!!!!!!!! To me that is all that matters!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. BOOOOOO DUmp! P.S.S. Great season Sioux, this is why I am a Sioux fan!!!

If you had told me that this would be the outcome of our season halfway through, I would have been very happy. My entire fraternity and a bunch of friends watched it at our fraternity house tonight. When the game ended everyone started clapping and we all talked about what a great season it was. Hey, we may have lost but at least we beat some great teams in the process and got to see our team play on national television multiple times!!!

I have also wondered that. It is a point that is brought up many times when people are discussing the DII/DI issue. It would be interesting to see how much $$$$$$ we actually are missing out on

If I time this out right I might get my 500th and the 100,000th at the exact same time. But that would require me sitting up and drinking for a few more hours.
