If anyone cares, Winona's game from last weekend against Wayne State at the Dome is being replayed right now on FSN. It's just starting at 7.

The playoff game with UMD last year was on TV. But remember how they waited until the last minute to announce it, hoping to get more ticket sales. If this weekend's game is on TV, I doubt we will hear anything about it until thursday or even friday. It would be kind of embarassing for the Ag schools to have 16,000 show up and we can't even break 6,000. I hope it's not on TV.

Rutgers looks like a completely different team in the second half. The way they are playing, they deserve to win this game.

I still can't breath after that last SCSU rush.

I must say that I really like SCSU's new jerseys. They would look even cooler if they had their husky logo on the shoulders instead of that silly C. Still not as nice as ours, though.

That same rumor also has MSU going to Texas Tech for a nice payday. I would definately love to see UND play the Kitties though. Possibly the first of a 3 game agreement.

I'd like to see the WCHA start sponsoring more sports, so I voted for other. If not the WCHA, then I'd vote for the Horizon League.

I have attended many of these "group discussions" over the years. I must say that these were usually just rally parties for the anti-namers. I never felt that my opinion was appreciated or even welcomed. Just my feelings.

Maybe bisonville should have been spending more time worrying about their own lawsuit than UND's.

Yes the interlocking ND logo has a long tradition with our athletics. But the fact is that outside of our region, everyone associates it with Notre Dame. Even if we used it first, people will always assume that we stole it from Notre Dame. Part of the move to DI is to make UND more visable. Using a logo assocaited with another university kind of defeats that. I have to disagree with other people's opinions of the UND flame logo. I think it is a very strong and classy looking logo that is unique and original to UND. I believe it would be very marketable, especially on sports merchandise.

I would love to see UND with a 20-25,000 seat horseshoe stadium in the north-east corner of the University Village. It would be the perfect spot to help keep all of the athletic department fairly close to each other, especially if the athletic department works with the students to build a swimming/diving complex on the new Wellness Center. And having both the Ralph and a new FB stadium welcoming people to campus would be great. However, if we keep drawing 8,000 people to games, there really is no need for a new stadium, as we already have 2 that would work perfect for that. I just don't see a renovated Memorial Stadium as a huge recruiting tool. Even if a new grandstand was built on the East side, the west side would require alot of work also. I don't see it being that intimate or having alot of character. With just a little work, it could be a great DI soccer facility though.
