That's an understatement! The NCAA men's soccer national semifinal on ESPN2 is pretty interesting to watch.

With UND going DI, I don't see Lennon thinking that Sac State is much of a step up. If anything he will wait until Bohl is hired as Minnesota's coach and then take the NDSU possition.

My memory seems rather fuzzy on this one but I believe their student paper had an article about our nickname debate last year before we played down there. If I recall correctly it had mostly statements by faculty, etc. saying they didn't agree with UND's use of the nickname and logo. But like I said, my memory is rather fuzzy on this and I don't quite remember all of the details.

The FSSN is an amazing asset for UND to have. And I believe it will be a nice feather in our cap to show conferences during the DI move. I must say I am very curious to see some of the new toys that may appear when the new fightingsioux.com comes online. Streaming internet video perhaps? And how may some of these new features tie into the FSSN. Anything UND can do to continue to grow the FSSN and UND's visability will only help out in the long run. There are a few things that I think could be done to make the FSSN even better. What about the FSSN re-airing Sioux Sports Weekly throughout the week. And why couldn't studio 1 also be carried on the FSSN. Maybe Studio 1 could possibly produce a seperate half hour show covering Sioux sports. Just some ideas. And additions like this are always nice to see for UND!!!

I went down to Vermillion last year for the UND/USD game. The Dakotadome may not be the best football facility in the country but it is definately a pretty good one, especially considering it's age. If USD can get a new basketball arena, permanent seating would most likely replace the portable bleacher seating on the west side that is currently pulled out for basketball. And USD is currently remodeling a building on campus to be used as a student rec center. With this happening, capacity could be increased and create more room for football operations. If UND had the Dakotadome sitting on campus, I wouldn't complain too much.

Heraldo article about Dartmouth situation. I think she needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and consider what she just said. We need to talk about it respectfully. I'll agree with that. But does she consider that public "b!+@h slap" she swung at UND as carrying on a respectful conversation?

Here is a better look at their logo (sort of). I definately think our logo is a much more beautiful logo. But I like how they incorporated the hawk into the feathers. Also, UNC-P does have a mascot. Imagine if UND tried to pull this one off.

And we all know they will be cheering on their fellow North Dakota university.

Maybe he can get funding going for a hockey arena for WSU to join the CHA.
