I really think the Mismash-Jones-Gersich line has a great weekend. They are the key to me. Tons of space out there and they have to dominate puck possession and make SCSU chase them around their end. They are going to have a tough call with where to put Olson. The Simo line with Smith and Rieger has been excellent. I leave that line alone. Rieger is a better skater than Olson and I like the edge he plays with around the net.

I don’t remember saying I didn’t like Rhett and Pogo playing together, since they were great together on the heavy line. If I did I’ll eat crow though.

Is green helmets and breezers along with the green jerseys a pipe dream?

I've heard Bowen still can't get foot in a skate after blocking a shot a few weeks ago. Guessing he won't be back until January. Get three points and get the hell outta Stearns county. Two top 5 teams going at it.

Jones just does so much. On the ice for three of the four goals, kills penalties, and you never have to question the kids battle level.....ever. He is the first half MVP in my book. Keep him with Gersich and Mismash and let Pogo and Rhett bounce some bodies with JJ.
