  1. These ones happen especially after a big win the night before. Just get through it and pray Perez doesn't get shelled tomorrow.
  2. You win tonight. A Sano doubter. If May trusts his fastball and forgets about being fancy they don't need Dyson.
  3. Its Laz and Hunter's crew.....thank God it isnt Hunter W. behind the plate.
  4. He can't be the best option in the outfield.....
  5. Terrible from Castro and Cave in that last half inning. Passed ball and then you let the tying run get to second base because you are worried about the runner that doesn't matter. Then he gets a 2-0 cookie and grounds out.
  6. My goodness does watching Ode pitch take years off a person's life. Twins lead 3-1, need to get 12 more outs.
  7. Duffy-Romo-Rogers.....works for me. Without that Rocco flub on Thursday in Miami and its 7 straight wins..... Two of three against the Braves then split Cleveland.
  8. Yup, Ode on Monday, then Berrios Tuesday. Big spot for Smeltzer today. Fully rested bullpen. Give the team 5 innings and hand it over.
  9. Injuries be darned.....gotta play on. Two for two to begin this homestand. Go get a sweep today and head into Monday with Berrios on the hill against the Braves.
  10. Buxton to IL....Pineda to IL.... Cave up.....Littell up...... Hopefully Cave is just used as a pinch runner.
  11. I remember when Eslinger from Bismarck High played center for the gophers for four years and their undersized athletic lineman would run all over teams with the zone scheme. Having Maroney and Barber didn't hurt, but they were effective at what they did.
  12. For whatever reason the Royals flat out play their best ball against the Twins. Perez wasn't good, Dyson wasn't good, Thorpe needs to pitch ahead..... I'll say this. Romo is gonna give up his fair share of bombs, but the guy trusts his stuff and goes at guys.
  13. My goodness.....if Dyson can't get guys out its over.....like zero chance at the postseason.....
  14. I understand Perez isnt going to go a bunch of innings, but bringing in Thorpe to face a bunch of right handed hitters makes zero sense. I mean maybe that's a good time for Dyson Rocco? In the 6th inning.....
  15. Gooch needs to take the bull by the horns now and break out. Your team sees you as a leader, now go out and be a point per game type player.
  16. I'm anxious to see Boltman's progression as a WR during fall camp. Most depth at WR we have had in some time, kid like that needs to be on the field, make it happen coaches.
  17. Ten game homestand ahead. Three with KC: Got to sweep. Three with Atlanta: Two of three. Four with the Tribe: Split. Seven of ten is a great homestand. If they can win 5 of the next six a split with Cleveland is okay. Anything more than a split with Cleveland is huge, anything less.....
  18. Completely agree. Terrible move by Rocco.....again. Yesterday sets up today. No reason to take out Berrios yesterday when he is cruising.....instead you use Rodgers. And he is available to pitch today, so close out the damn game with him....
  19. A win is a win. Ugly 9th, but Poppen is going down to make room for Dyson anyways. In the postseason you need three starters. Berrios, Pineda.....boy it would have been nice to get Stroman. I think they have innings 7-9 settled. Duffy, Romo, Dyson, Rodgers.....and whatever lefty becomes the situational guy. Getting it there is still a question mark at times with inconsistent Odorizzi, Perez, and Gibby.
  20. Franmil Reyes to Cleveland as well. Two bats to the tribe, but Puig is a guy that teams can't wait to get rid of. One more bullpen arm and it's almost lights out status.....
  21. They weren't going to be able to pay him after this year. Not sure what Cincinnati gave up, but probably nothing of equal trade value. Kluber must be close to coming back I'd guess.
  22. Maybe the Indians dump Bauer today after his tantrum. Loved how Francona handled it.
  23. Same thing every year with him.....average starts....a handful of good ones and an ERA between 4 and 5.
  24. Bats go silent and the lead likely down to one. I've been critical of the Twins over this stretch, but my God the Indians haven't played anyone other than the Twins this month.....playing 10 against the Royals and a four game homestand against the mighty Tigers. Likely to go 13-1 in those 14.....throw in the Reds, Blue Jays....and I'm not as upset at the Twins.....
