What I wouldn't give to be there tonight...... Get up a few and get the "let's go Sioux" chant ringing through that place. Also a travesty to have empty seats.....yuck....

I've always a fan of the fake jet sweep with a speedster to hold the OLB and then power up the middle. Running it with Kett is more effective than Brock. Boltman could hit a homerun with it, but when the defense see its him playing QB that chance gets slimmer.

Series will come down to UND adjusting to Lake Mariucci and our guys going attack mentality on a team they should dominate 5x5. Smith, Adams, JBD, Gooch, Hain. 5-2 good guys.

I'm just irritated by more and more kids choosing not to play ND high school hockey. I know its discussed at the coaches meetings, but something seriously needs to be done. Double class system, more games, statewide league....I don't know..... In Minot I know of at least four kids that have went the midget hockey route. And those are all kids who have strong ties to the Minot Hockey community. And then you'll have of all names...a Panzer playing AGAINST GFC this year for East Grand.

Looks like Friday morning there is a bit of opportunity before the crap hits the fan and mother nature goes off her pills for three months. Thursday looks okay for the most part too.

This is a huge issue IMHO with our fanbase right now. I've been a fan since I left the hospital in the Fighting Sioux onesie and I've never seen the hockey/football line in the sand as bad as it is now. I'll put a lot of the blame on the athletic department for not putting more into football, but at the same time maybe it started when hockey was gifted the nicest facility in the nation and the football team was still getting dressed and lifting at Memorial (That underpass.....scary). I was at the Ralph a few years ago and football players were selling 50/50 tickets and at the same time were bit$hing about how they'd never seen any hockey players at their games or supporting them, etc. I'm a huge fan of both sports. I apologize to the basketball teams/volleyball/soccer. I don't follow them as much. I wonder if it's like this everywhere????
