Remember when Bubba was coaching Duluth in the D2 days and they played us in the postseason I think and they threw the ball every bleeping play and spread us out the entire game? Think it may have been Danny Gagner's senior year.
What happened to that Bubba ball?
Good call!
I think with the arms in the bullpen now we can really make a push with the schedules now. If our starters can get it to the 6th with a lead the arms should be able to ride it home most nights.
Gibby tomorrow......
Four of five on the road trip. Now go give Lance Lynn what he deserves tomorrow and sweep your way out of Texas.
Yankee fan for one more day and then I become a Mets fan. Hopefully the Tribe stumbles a bit more in NYC.
Harper may be the next in line to be off the bullpen staff. Rosario needs to catch the ball in left, but Texas really crapped the running the bases bed again.
Welp, now its 9-7 because Berrios is all over the place. Not sure why Rosario is playing so deep with a strong wind blowing in and a lefty up, but Berrios didn't help matters by walking people and leaving the ball up.
Graterol is a dude. Tremendous arm....tremendous. Will be 21 in a week or so and has all the makings of a shut down closer if he stays away from arm issues.
If he stays consistently sharp he needs to be on the big club soon.
Cave has got to get the runners over and instead looks at strike three. Two nights removed from getting Kepler drilled because he missed a sign.
When does Buxton come back?
And because Cave missed the cut man, Choo doesn't hit into a double play and the inning continues, and now Danny Santana is the second coming of David Ortiz.
Sloppy in the field.....what on earth is Cave doing? And Berrios leaving the ball up.
Twins up 8-3 in the 2nd, but goodness do they not look good in the field at times.
Yankees doing their part against the Indians. Twins now need to take care of business with Berrios on the mound going against a guy with a high ERA.
Get the lead up to 2 1/2.
I'm in the 7-4 boat. I think they surprise one of the teams they aren't supposed to beat and then have an ISU or Montana State loss.
Although, I'd take 1-10 if they beat NDSU in Fargo.
Maybe a few notes to take defensively for Rocco. When they are in over shift mode for left handed hitters they can't have Sano be the only guy on the left side of the infield in the shortstop spot. Keep the regular shortstop there and put him wherever between first and second. And Adrianza is now your 8th inning and later short stop or third baseman for defensive purposes when they have the lead.
