Alright.....Cleveland loses. Rocco has got to do whatever possible to win this game. Get through the 6th here Ode, and then Duffy, Romo, Rodgers. And......we fall behind......gotta get the bats going.

Good start by Pineda tonight coming off the injury. Got the team off the field and back in the dugout when they were piling it on early. Smeltzer saves the bullpen by going four, and the Rangers show the world how not to run the bases.

Polanco really set the table for this late loss. Romo has been good, but was due to blow one eventually.

Theme from last night....Rocco bailed out again...... In hold situations past the 7th inning the order of operations should be: Duffy, Dyson, Romo, Rodgers. And insert May as a last resort. It's also a great time for them to figure out their left handed specialist. Is it Thorpe? Is it Smeltzer? No way should Harper be pitching to a lefty in the 7th with a two run lead and the tying runs on.

I've said the same thing about the number of times he's been bailed out.

Rocco didn't want to use Cave and then lose him when you put Adrianza at first if it goes extras for Cron. He has done it before. If you win the game there is no reason to worry about moves in the 10th.

Great start by Ode last night. Pitching with guys on all night and was tremendous in not letting the dam break. Also wanted to mention Arraez. His triple was all knowing the scouting report on Puig being a block head with hitting the cut in the outfield and knowing he would try to throw it all the way to third. Twins have their second baseman for years to come.

I think in the future a guy like Smeltzer is a lefty specialist. Good location guy at times, but the second or third time through the hits are gonna pile up. Win one of these last two to try and save some ground. Kluber comes back soon too.....

Now Cruz will likely go to the IL. No Buxton, Cruz, Pineda.....the ship may be starting to sink.

Frustrating when this team's pitching gives them zero chance. Down 4 plus runs early the last three.

Cleveland is just a more complete team than the Twins. They fixed their weakness at the trade deadline.

Team needs a quality start, Gibby pitches like dog crap.

I have a feeling that "what if" may be muttered a lot when all is said and done with the 2019 Minnesota Twins. Tremendous lineup. Great role guys. Looks like everyone likes each other. Not getting a proven starter at the deadline will haunt them. If Pineda doesn't come back as the guy from the last two months and Smeltzer gets tagged a couple times this team won't make the postseason.
