This right here. Just because you disagree with someone it doesn't make them a racist, or a fascist, whatever word you want to use. Extremely discouraged with the fact that so many individuals in our country missed out on that required problems of democracy or Government class where they had the opportunity to learn about actual fascism or the polished turd that is "Democratic Socialism". I always encouraged my students to read about "useful idiots". I don't care what cause you are behind, but at least be able to back your stance with facts.

Antifa now teaming up on people in the streets of DC with any kind of MAGA signs or material from today's rally.

Local high school hockey player I know had all sorts of opportunities to play juniors or midget hockey but stayed to play with his friends because having a season looked likely. Kid may jump ship now and join a junior team, because what happens on December 14th when it gets pushed back again?

UND lost a legend yesterday as Reggie 'Reg' Morelli passed away. I grew up in the Minot hockey community and he was always first class to my family, and the same with his kids and grand kids. I played men's league with his son Matt, and got to know his grandson Mason pretty well while working at MAYSA arena. RIP.

I used to get super excited about big name recruits like Parise or a Toews coming in. Not going to complain about high end players coming in but with it comes "how long will they be here?" after the last whistle in April, or in the back of our minds their entire career. Is it better to find a kid like Kawaguchi who is a four year kid and a captain, or a kid like Sanderson who will probably be here for two years and if all goes well and he stays injury free will get a big signing bonus thrown at him and a fancy NHL jersey?

My next question is. Is this common? Like what is the norm for people just voting for the president?

Walked out of the store this morning when it was 6 degrees here in beautiful western NoDak and the exhaust was pouring out of people's masks walking to their vehicles from the store, mine too. Maybe we were wearing them the wrong way, but not sure that they were very effective. All the workers in my grandmother's nursing home are required to wear gloves and masks 100 percent of the time, and some even mask up and use the plastic shield. So....how in the hell did she get Covid?

^^^^^^^ My wife was flat out ridiculous with her loans, and she was at Mayville State for only 3 years. The day before we got married her dad joked at the rehearsal dinner that he was happy his daughter found someone to take on her student loans. Just finished paying them off last year....we've been married 10 years.

In hockey whenever we played in Grand Forks or were driving through Grand Forks on our way back to Minot we always ordered Pizzas from the moon for the whole bus. Ken would meet us in the parking lot of Purpur with a van full of pizzas and was always greatful to our coaches for the business.

Looks as though some eastern schools may be shut down for the winter season. Other schools in league that play hockey include Clarkson, Union, RPI, and St. Lawrence.
