Alright then. Postseason begins day in the big leagues.
No Donaldson for the series, and in a surprise move they brought up Kiriloff instead of Lamonte Wade Jr. They had all year to bring him up.....but waited until now.
Not a fan of Wisler over Alcala, but hopefully we don't see much of that area of the bullpen this week.
Twins with 16 straight playoff losses. Atlanta could set the record for consecutive playoff series losses in a row if the Reds win.
And then there are the Marlins. Who have never lost a playoff series.
Tough to feel bad for an NDSU kid, but I'm 100 percent behind Wentz and hope he can turn things around for himself.
Not for Philly fans though, they can walk off a cliff.
Ill take....The Rays, Oakland, Minnesota, and Cleveland.
And then....the Dodgers, Reds, Marlins, and Cards.
I'm glad Cleveland and the Yankees get each other. Perfect match-up to get rid of Cy Young or the evil empire.
Completely agree. If they lose to Houston ain't no way they were going to beat the Tribe/Yankees/White Sox.
Only two teams under .500 in the entire 16 team field and one of them is at Target Field on Tuesday.
This would be on the epic Minnesota sports fails of all time if Minnesota finds a way to blow this after Chicago was down 10-1 in the bottom of the 8th.
The true travesty is the o line play at the end. But they won't get better going 7-9 this year. Full on tank mode. Keep players out that are dinged up and try and let Jefferson get better through the year.
And now things get really ugly for the Vikings the next few weeks. After this stretch they'll be 0-7.
If I'm them I don't even bring Hunter back. Let him get completely fine and give it a go next year.
Zimmer.....its been fun but this probably ends your stint in Minnesota. Speilman too. Its a business.
Not sure who has the tiebreaker between the jays and Yankees, ill assume Yankees.
Will go in as the 2nd seed tomorrow which means Cleveland if they win.
As of now....
1. Rays
2. Twins
3. A's
4. Sox
5. Yankees
6. Stros
7. Indians
8. Jays
Do the A's try to win? The White Sox have a layup tomorrow, the Cubs won their division. The Twins lose all tiebreakers with the A's and White Sox. If the Yankees do own the blue jay tiebreaker they are 5th for sure.
Alright Rocco! Here we go! Lefty heavy at the top and Rodgers comes in the game. Good! Yes! Nice! And after he gets out of this its Duffy, May, ballgame.
Buxton sitting out with a head contusion.....sigh......I understand being careful with head injuries, but the guy wants to be in there. They took him out yesterday as a precaution, and he passed all concussion protocol.
Its to the point where a mosquito bite gets guys a day off.
Arraez is back, as is Smeltzer. Wade Jr. Goes down as does the kid that pitched last night.
I was in favor of having Wade pinch hit for Garver last night, but I guess his time has run out.
