According to the Bob Gillen site Central put up 94 shots on goal in Devils Lake. While giving up 11. Thats an unreal statistic.

There are a lot of great team players on this site like @SiouxFanatic that post links to broadcasts and you can watch away on the computer or phone. But if they don't, Tim preaching the game to you via radio or iheart is a pretty good worst option to have. What I wouldn't give to have him and O'Keefe back together for a weekend of games.

2020-21 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
Wilbur replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Put me and many fellow UND hockey fans that I know in the cost of tickets crowd. -
"Back to North Dakota". Reading that on a day like today with a wind chill warning and just utter body aching cold. You sure you don't want to be one of the yacht lawyers near Miami beach?

Effffffff.........do our players get tested weekly???

Not a chance anyone not named UND-SCSU-Duluth finishes in the top three. Based on what SCSU and Duluth have left on the schedule I'd be shocked if those two finished outside of the top three. Just not likely in my opinion. My way too early NCHC finish: 1. UND (Raging homer pick.....likely SCSU if I take the green glasses off) 2. SCSU 3. Duluth 4. Omaha 5. Denver 6. Western 7. CC 8. Miami

With the way college hockey is this season with limited fans, it makes sense for the NCAA to host the postseason in a bubble in one location, or to have the top four seeds host the regionals at their schools. With no fans being allowed to attend the NCAA tournament certain coaches that don't want on campus regionals will have their biggest complaint nullified. Hopefully the NCAA thinks about this sooner than later because we are about to crack open February, which means there better be a plan by March.

9 NFC title game appearances in those 28 years. 3-6 in those games. 2-1 in the Bowl. They'll forever kick themselves for the Seattle game, Giants at home, and yesterday likely. I was looking forward to Mahomes vs. A-Rog. Now I've got to hear about Tom Brady for two more weeks.

Well well well.....if it isn't our old friend Baxter arena. We shouldn't need to practice the day before the game at the rink because if the players don't know the bounces by now, they never will. I believe it was @brianvf that said something along the lines of UND vs. Omaha will decide the league championship. We play 6 of 8 games remaining against them and their adorable coach Stu after they had some Covid issues that messed the schedule up for most of the western teams. The Pioneers outplayed Omaha for some long stretches of last night's game but got hot goalied by Saville. Taylor Ward (Come on Dixon....Omaha?) will give us fits in front of the net, and they've got some agitators who will push the line with guys like Pinto, so keeping our composure is pretty important. We can't take the penalties we took against CC, because Omaha actually connects with passes while on the powerplay, unlike CC. Current NCHC Standings: UND 35 Points SCSU 33 Points Omaha 27 Points Duluth 27 Points Denver 21 Points Western 19 Points CC 15 Points Miami 15 Points UND has to hold serve here for a few weeks because our friends from Stearns county have Western at home for a couple, and then Miami and CC (just one game), before closing with Duluth. We do have a game in hand, but lets pretend that doesn't exist for now.

I did some research on the Packers QB play last evening because what better to do while the Sioux were lighting up CC. To this point, 28 seasons with Rodgers or Favre as the quarterback of the franchise. I'll bet he is around next season and likely the year after that. So they will have 30 years of hall of fame QB play. As a Packer fan are you okay with having two superbowls in that time span or is it more like missed opportunity for more?
-
Twelve points against CC. Guessing they could see them in the postseason.
-
Kleven got a major for cross checking out of it huh.
-
My guess is we end up on the kill. Three roughing penalties on UND, maybe a major on CC, and two roughing penalties.
-
And we got a scuffle.... Kleven rode in hard from behind. Then all kinds of roughing penalties.
-
Can't remember a weekend where they've had more breakaways.
-
I miss Owens. Boy did UND and CC have some wide open games when he was their coach. Playing on the Olympic ice made a lot of sense with the talent they had.
-
Ohh, didn't see him get the head. If so, I'll agree on a five.
-
Major for slashing......boy.....I get the slash....but a five there?
-
Review.......sigh.....

Judd tries the same move as Adams, and Basse stands tall.
-
Judd....4-0. You have no idea how many guys score the game after I pick them in Sioux survivor.
-
I'm not even sure which one they were looking at.
-
Good goal, based on replay.
