I think Berry said it best post game. With the lineup they had the game was much better managed by our guys. Not a whole lot of wide open play out of our guys. We limited rushes for CC, and when they got possession we kind of abandoned ship and settled into the 1-2-2 super early and made them beat 5 guys to just get into our end. As a former goalie you can really appreciate the guys going all in blocking shots to get you a shutout. With about five minutes left CC was buzzing and I think we had three different guys battling to not let the puck get to Driscoll. It was as if we were protecting a one goal lead when the game wasn't in doubt up 4-0. Keep battling boys. Points in Duluth are tough to come by.

A guy that gets overlooked a bit but has been good for this team is Jandric. Nothing flashy, but just a steady presence.

Him getting a game and Savoie from Denver getting a two minute penalty for pretty close to the same hit sums up the people that give out the suspensions.

I see us tied with Notre Dame at 12th.

Alright, replay posted on Schlossman's Twitter. You know it reminded me of that play where the Denver kid skated directly into Cole Smith and Smith got a major penalty. Abate has a reputation, but with Jammer backing into him there isn't really a call to make IMHO.

I was told via twitter that @Dave Berger was going to post a replay. I'll call Abate innocent until said replay is seen as the officials were right there and they're a good crew. Is Abate a poor man's Mike Prpich?

I didn't see the play or any replays to this point. Officials were right there on top of it but Brad was not happy so was wondering what others saw. Losing Jammer to a freak incident would be exactly this team's injury luck.

Was on the opposite end of the arena and didn't see the Abate play on Jammer, only Jammer laying on the ice. Berry upset. Cheap hit or a hockey thing?

Great call by your buddy Walsh on the dive though. Textbook. He has hurt UND for years but you wouldn't know because you are scared about hurt feelings and how our fans look? Pretty pathetic in my book. Even checked up on my profile....goodness I struck a nerve. Got my certification, and volunteered hundreds of officiating hours to my last youth club. I hope parents/coaches leave the youth/ALL officials alone. In all sports.
