I'm sorry if you got the impression that your flyers weren't appreciated and/or useful. They were great and were appreciated (at the very least by the people I go to games with--so thanks!) You're never gonna get the entire crowd to cheer because there are many people who are there just to socialize. But the first step to getting the Fogies (me included) to cheer along is to educate them on what you are doing. If we don't know what you are chanting/cheering and when you do specific things we won't join in. The flyers may not have gotten you 10,000 more fans cheering along, but it got me cheering more (huge difference I know) Those fans that do care will pick it up and pass it on to others. **one thought that may have been mentioned before-- cheerleaders or even students educating the fans. for example, Use some time before the game or during intermission to have a green harem member (or perhaps diggler in a cheerleader uniform ) lead the crowd in a specific cheer and tell them when it is done. Even if the Fogies don't catch on right away it will get the students going.

We complain because they don't call the penalties. IMO, if/when they start calling what they see, we're gonna see some games with what seem to be "too many penalties" and no flow until teams start to adjust to the new officiating. A necessary consequence in my view. If this actually happens the Sioux are going to have to convert on the PP in order to get any benefit (other than the obvious benefit of not having a 200+ lb backpack) just my $.02

Considering that the webcasts are pay-per-view and subscription I would be surprised if there were not contracts (written or verbal) in place with all away teams/venues etc. If there were I would think SCSU would have to provide refunds ***Visions of SCSU admin having to cut checks to Fighting Sioux fans-- priceless!*** of course I, unlike half of this board, am not a lawyer

If it is the poll I am thinking of the first post gives the title of best arena to REA by default. So actually the poll was started to decide which arena is the "also ran" I don't go there much anymore except to see the headlines and schedule/results for much the same reasons you mentioned. I don't have enough free time to weed through all the junk.

I just got back from searching. Our group was, I believe, south of Fisher searching ditches. They pulled us all after about 2 hours because of the wind chill. The outpouring of people is truly amazing. It is a shame the process is so maddening. Most people on my bus got to the REA before 8 am. We didn't even get to Fisher until after 10. And didn't get sent out to search till around noon. At around 11:30 (when I actually bothered to count) there were 10 buses loaded with people sitting in Fisher doing nothing but waiting and waiting. Finally, alot of people just caught buses back to the Ralph without getting a chance to search. While I am sure that law enforcement is trying their best, it seemed terribly inefficient. I just pray that they find her somewhere safe and warm, and don't have to do any more searching.

the audio 95.5/96.1 inside REA this year has been horrible too- long stretches off air, cutting in and out, and the signal seems to fluctuate so that sometimes 96.1 is better sometimes 95.5. any tech guru's in our midst think the problems with the digital audio may be related to the digital video problems? or is that a duh question?

The Saigo poster made it in on Fri. but was in section 104 which is only ever on camera for the national anthem. (note, this is not a complaint as I am not photogenic ) I don't know if it made it in Sat. I sent it with my nieces. forecheck, was it sittin in the office? I watched the game on cable, and noticed that they really didn't show much of the crowd at all.
