Perhaps the NCAA should allow official practices to begin in May so the ALL FRESHMAN college hockey teams have more time to acclimate their players I would jump at the money too so I don't blame anyone for chasing his dream and getting paid. thread with wallpaper links took me a couple minutes to figure out how to do that I put the wallpapers that I used in the logon screens here if anybody wants them. (only the last five images are wallpaper so they are the only ones at 1024x768)

I have windows XP so all I know is relative to that **For the calendar I use freeware Rainlendar **For the Bootskins I tried 2 different programs both freeware --Bootskin from Stardock. Requires 16 color Bitmap images --PHM Plus! for Windows XP (This program allows you to customize all kinds of things and you can change the bootskin from the MY COMPUTER Properties screen.) Also you can use any picture. **For the Logons I use freeware LogonStudio There are tons of free download themes at Wincustomize.com for Rainlender, Bootskin, & LogonStudio. **For the screensaver I use Microsoft PLus! (Came with my computer) It has a bunch of 3D revolving screensavers that are pretty cool and you can customize which pics you use. I have customized pretty much everything with Sioux logos, icons, wallpaper etc. If you want any of my versions PM me with your email and I'll send you some files.

I'm curious to know what others are doing. Over time Sioux, especially Sioux Hockey, seems to have taken over my computer. There have been some great wallpapers posted here for download which I have used. My amateur attempts at logo making were in response to these posts. The one with the tomahawks was just to entertain DamStrait. It is nice, however, to know that I can still start trouble without even trying

I was bored so instead of doing something constructive I messed around with photoshop. I am a novice, but I am hoping my feeble attempts will inspire someone to come up with a killer logo. of the ones I did this is my favorite the others are located here logos

Shuttle system works great. I have a parking pass for Sioux this year but used the shuttle in previous years and just used it for 2 weeks with the WJ Tourny. There is only 1 drawback as far as I'm concerned. The lines for the bus after the games. If it is really cold out it is awful to stand out there in -25 - -40 windchill. If there was some way to load closer to the doors and form the lines inside it would help a lot. Even as it stands it is much better than walking several blocks.

Off topic but if you like the tabbed browsing of firefox, but find sites that you like that don't work with it. You might try Maxthon. Has the functionality of firefox but works with or on IE. (disclaimer-- I couldn't tell you other pros/cons, but I have used it for over a year and I love it). The IIHF pages work fine with it.

If you are talking about the intro it is P.O.D's "Boom". I really like it. Love that they incorporate big hits or great plays from the Fri game in Sat. intro.

I didn't see much of pregame but during the game I didn't see any on the big screen. Diggler, forecheck, etc. had a bunch of signs, I didn't see any of them except the 2 I made. Here are links if you want to see those. bognar durno Forecheck's gorilla costume was great though!

I'm pretty sure it started with the 2002-03 season. I believe the series with UMN and UW were both home and away in 2001-02.
