  1. I hope they take us lightly. We need to come out strong because they will have some jet lag and lack of preparation from the flight over the pond and back. Let's shock them and the college football world!
  2. You guys have been watching UND football for many more years than me so let me know your thoughts. I have been hearing and knowing that we needed more beef and depth on the Defensive Line (this was one of our biggest weaknesses in the last few years). So I think with Johnson, Morrison, Beach and Orlando that this position group is going to be a lot better and help with the inside running games that have hurt us during the last few seasons of league play. Excited about McNaboe as well! Thoughts?
  3. Thank you for asking! Nothing major but hurt his foot/toe. Will try and go this weekend. He is sick about the missed opportunity. Glad for the win! G
  4. Andy's is the real deal! Great recommendation!
  5. I’m hearing that it’s a blackout tomorrow from the students and players. Has anyone else heard that?
  6. I think Tom and a lot of the UND fans just want to see it happen on the field and don't want to be disappointed. I think the home field advantage does play a part in this game. Also, having played them 2 times since 2019 also provides some familiarity and not as much in awe of the reputation by winning the FCS so many times. Both of things will help and I think the team needs to play well but I don't think it has to be a perfect game. The game is winnable. Once they win this game the expectations will change from everyone, IMHO!
  7. This is where the game will be won or lost! We have more weapons on the DL this season so hopefully we can hold up and make them throw it more than they would like!
  8. I think these are all good points/questions. I definitely think it is a 10 to 14 point swing. It seems that the team is more confident in Alerus. I think the crowd should be rocking which will give the team some juice and hopefully give NDSU some issues with noise (crossing my fingers). Utah St. is going to have a good year. They will probably end up 9-3 or 10-2 so that won't be a bad loss at the end of the year. Blake Anderson is from the Art Briles coaching tree (Baylor staff for 2-3 years). That is where I went to school so I followed them greatly. It is a difficult offense to defend especially when they have good athletes in it. NDSU's offense is totally different from Utah St.'s offense. The main question is can we stop the run? If we can stop their run consistently and make them throw for first downs I think we will win. We definitely have more beef up front this year at NG. We have 3 guys that they can rotate at almost 300 pounds. Can our LB's hold up against the pulling guards/tackle/TE? I think their new qb is good but he isn't Lantz. I hope our crowd is loud and proud! I assume it will be since it has been 18 years since the last home game vs NDSU. I had trouble finding a hotel room so I assume a lot of fans are coming from out of town! Hpefully UND fans.
  9. 41-10 UND. Big special teams play!
  10. Everyone needs to support the team! We are in the Missouri Valley now and are on a 11-12 game winning streak at home. The atmosphere helps the players and also helps with recruiting the better players. The team has rewarded with wins at home! The chance is there for another playoff run but it takes everyone! Fans, Admin, Coaches and Players! Let's Go!

Maag had 7 catches for 63 yards when we played them in 2019. I think we should expect to see him have good statistics in this game!
  12. Jaxson decided to stick with #15.
  13. Miller does a good job of reporting on the football team. He was on Hot Mic with Dom yesterday as well if you are interested link below. I think it starts around the 45 minute mark. https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cDovL2hvdG1pY3dpdGhkb21penpvLmZjY25uLmxpYnN5bnByby5jb20vcnNz/episode/NmUxY2U4M2EtYzFkYy00NDY0LWI2MDgtOGY0YWVjNWYxZGEz?hl=en&ved=2ahUKEwik99z1ka7yAhWZk2oFHY69APQQieUEegQIBRAF&ep=6
  14. Yes, he is 100% and ready to go. He'll have to prove it in Fall Camp. Thank you for asking!
  15. Agree with gundy1124! Why are we looking to the backup when we tied for the MVFC conference championship and really have a claim for the full title with wins against SDSU and MO State? Tommy has done an excellent job this season! He had one bad game against NDSU but the team just didn't have a solid game as a whole. Don't look to the backup when we have a QB that is doing what the coaches are asking him to do and it has been very successful!
  16. they have 2 FBS transfers set to play in the Fall. The QB from Virginia Tech and the RB from SMU. That will get you older quicker!
