To me the answer is simple. The program really took off with Hak consistently winning conference tournaments, winning regionals, and winning destination games. Every time this team hit the road, the fans followed because you knew they always had a shot to win. There’s nothing better than going on the road with the team. Regular season conference championships are nice, but performing well in the conference and national tournaments is a hell of a lot more fun!

This team has been good at talking the talk the last couple years, but doesn’t have much to show for it other than some nice regular season titles and a NCHC playoff title on home ice. It would be nice to see them walk the walk soon, starting tonight, to give some hope that there’s potential for a deep run in the spring.

I went with “head over heart” to get to 10-0 at this point. I need QU and WMU to remain perfect today, although those picks are more “heart over head.” I have QU winning it all over MSU. It’s Sydney or The Bush for me today.
