If you want to go that route, I'm sure USC is thinking about a name change.... or Bemidji State...

Even though there are some other teams with the name Roughriders, I still think it is the best fit for UND and UND is the best fit for that particular name. I went to RRHS and it wouldn't bother me one bit. I'm more "loyal" to my university than my high school.

When asked about not wanting to be traded to Toronto, he was quoted as saying something along the lines of 'going to Toronto would be like going to play for Boston.' For as "chummy" as pro athletes are with each other - even on rival teams - I kind of respect his honesty and the fact that he just couldn't stand the thought of being traded to what he considered a rival team.

They brought Vanek in to be the finisher...otherwise the move doesn't make sense. They need goal scorers.

I should also note that I had a good experience using the UND app on the ipad over wireless.

That is what I did. My laptop was hard-wired to my router. It was good quality.

I had a good experience with the webcast this year. The HDMI from laptop to TV produced a decent HD picture. There was an occasional stutter in the video and the audio would occasionally be out of synch, but neither of these were major issues.

It's a nice problem to have since you know there's bound to be guys banged up throughout the season.

This has to be just some random speculation...seems like they'd be mortgaging their future if they pulled this off. Four first-round draft picks plus an additional $9M on the books for 5+ years? It's funny because the Wild tout all the salary cap room they have, yet it seems a lot of teams just as good (or better) as they are have as much or more room in the coming years. I would shake my head if they did this...any other fellow Bruins fans think Coyle would look good in a spoked B?

I think this is true...there was a period of time where that building was vacant before Topper's. Ugly's would've been early to mid-80s based on my recollection.

Wasn't it called Ugly's before it was Toppers? I remember getting the Ugly Burger and it had a licorice smiley face on it.

The only reason I got King Leo's was because my mom worked there when she was in HS and I remember her talking about it as a kid!

I know donuts are often brought up here, but anyone remember "The Donut Hole," I think where Starbucks is now on 13th and Washington? As a kid I always wanted one of their big donut cakes.

If you think about it, both teams have a history of playing a hard-nosed and edgy game with plenty of skill involved. The teams' styles aren't as dissimilar as some may want to think. I think Lucic may have learned a thing or two from watching Prpich get even on Paukovitch...Just sayin'
