The actions of the few reflect negatively on the reputation of the majority. Hard reading the blanket statements of the fan base, when myself and every other fan I know would never act this way. Although, other teams, Omaha included, have bad fans too. My wife while walking the concourse with our 15 month old this Saturday was the target of "F*** you, North Dakota." A woman with her child. Some people don't deserve to attend these events if they can't mind their own business and enjoy the game for what it is. A social event meant for good competition, and FUN.

It makes you wonder if he hears about other guys who left and wish they hadn't. I enjoyed listening to Duncan on the Has Beens saying he was so happy he stayed 4 years, and Oshie has openly said he wished he would've stayed. The NHL will always be there (of course barring career ending injury), UND games are limited to 4 years (5 with covid year?) but you get what I'm saying.

Also, I could kill a grinder right now. If only I wasn’t 8 hours away.

These guys showed some god damn grit. Now get healthy. Still work to do but this should show they can play with good teams.

Yeah, gotta be tough getting there late, getting hurt, team does really well in pool play, then loses the way it did to SVK. Hopefully he takes it all in and still enjoys his trip and opportunity to be there with the other NCAA guys. Memorable for sure. And let's hope this isn't the last we'll see of him in red white and blue in the Olympics.

Don't get me wrong, we all want wins and are big fans, but even if they team was worse off than they are, these are the tidbits I thoroughly enjoy seeing.

Granted I didn't watch the game so I can't critically speak on the play, but big picture, I personally don't feel there should be worried because of the outcome. Resting players to get healthy for games that matter is much more important than the optics of an exhibition game loss to the country's top junior team that doesn't have an merit on the standings. If that saves someone from tweaking a nagging injury or pushes another's health back to green, that's great. Who knows, maybe they saw some things in guys who don't normally skate a lot of minutes to be able to plug holes down the road with some confidence. Time will tell how this team does. (Thanks captain obvious). But again, I missed the game so I could just be full of sh!t too.

Overall, for the size of the building, I thought it was a great experience. Granted my location was what helped make it great, even if we were somewhere else in the building, I don't think there's a bad seat in there. We had 2 seats on a bar rail, with two seats directly in front, both sets on an aisle, right by the bathrooms, just across a corner from the beer stand. Worked great. It could be different if the game was completely full, but was enjoyable. Those bar rails at the top of each section are a game changer in my book. Would love seats like that every game. Option to stand with no complaints from behind and still good viewing if you sit, with the added small table top for beer or food. Great compliment and wish more arenas had those.

It can't and won't be consistent when it's reliant on each school per stream. Some will value quality while others can't or wont. Price is the same, and it rolls over. If you sign up during the early bird period, it's what you'll pay as long as you re-enroll automatically.
