This years squad shows glimpses of the stud teams of 19-21. Just goes about it’s business putting pucks in the net from different guys and can take games over. Those teams a few years ago handled DU well, I expect the same. Beat ‘em like it’s expected. Then onto the next one.

Not hockey related, yet, but hopefully the hockey team stays away from the issues of college football lately with gambling. Iowa made it legal a year or two ago and now both state universities are having issues with athletes gambling on university athletics. Some their own team.

Anyone heard anything legit on what the team will go to with adidas on its way out?

All of these B1G teams having success doesn’t surprise me. In the last 5-7 years, that’s been the NCHC. Maybe not the offensive explosion, but these teams have played their top talent teams all season. East teams do not. So come tournament time they’re already battle tested. ECAC and HEA can steal one in this format against a DU or Western. When NCHC has a down year they’re bound to stumble against another “good” team. Who really tested DU week in and week out with UMD and UND in a slump? SCSU? Omaha? Western? Good teams but not the level of the usual top 3-4 of typical NCHC talent. Western I see as a fluke. They had a goal called off and then hit a pipe. Either one goes the other way that could’ve been a whole different game. Oddly, DU just looked lackadaisical and it ended their season. With all that said, barring matchup, I still don’t see UND having a successful run if they made it. One, maybe two, and done. They don’t reach Tampa if they make the tourney IMO.

The lack of mic’d officials doesn’t make sense.

Nothing like giving the most important games of the year the best ice.

In theory, this should be a non issue, but I’m sure some buildings don’t or can’t go about it to be right. Hell last years basketball tournament was all about the neon orange basketballs that teams weren’t familiar with.

Intermission analyst, former goaltender, thinks what we all could see. Puck was loose. Goalie didn’t have it. Hopefully WMU can overcome it.

Is the color guy saying the paint in the ice is a factor for these teams? Wtf?

Commentator thinks no goal just bc they lost sight for 3-4 seconds. Didn’t appear the goalie had a clue where it was.
