Hypothetical here. This happens. I know it’s common for football but does this split the conference into two divisions east and west or would they just keep it one 10 team conference? How would they maintain schedule integrity without adding games or taking away non cons to make it worthwhile? Not sure I like the idea even as I type it, especially how this year went with so many games vs Omaha and DU, but it could be possible given healthy cross division series’ throughout a season. DU I didn’t mind so much by it was better competition than Omaha IMO tho. Just got me thinking.

I understand what you’re saying but if you base successful years solely on post season you won’t find a coach that will stick around per those standards. Penrose and Faceoff titles have to account for something here in the last two years.

I’m in the same boat as @petey23 I won’t root for SCSU per say but won’t go against them either for the sake of friends who follow them. Same goes for DU. Honestly was hoping DU would get a bid because my brother in Denver is a fan and his friend group like to gang up on me being a UND fan. It’s more fun for me to have friends involved especially if they play one another as I enjoy a couple “hate weeks” every season when they face off. Really enjoy my times in Magness and haven’t had a bad experience (yet) at an opposing rink. And @stoneySIOUXi find myself more and more disliking UND fans and their conduct that gives the good ones a bad name. But I’m just one lowly jamoke of a fan myself so what do I know? And @Godsmacki got verbally berated at the Ralph for getting a game puck for my DU jersey wearing brother one night. That was fun. Some people take things to a level that is laughable.

I can't explain why but I'm in the group that would like to see SCSU win it all. It keeps it in the NCHC, and likely a win over UMD. Also, would be funny to see being that Motzko had another #1 seed not get it done in March/April, while his former team wins it all. Uneducated reason, I like their black sweaters more than UMD's uniforms. Both NCHC teams are good enough to take care of business today, but that's why the game is played because anything may happen.

Anyone who frequents eBay noticed how many adidas replicas have flooded the listings lately? Kinda odd. DU 70 Anny jerseys ended up in Ross and Burlington then eBay after they dropped Adidas and went to New Balance this year.
