We still don't know who will be here when the season starts, but what does everyone think of the team this year? Extremely young, but tons of potential. How good will Toews be this year? I can't wait to see Joe Finley on skates! He will be around 6'9" on them! I expect Greene to leave, but I think that will be it. It should be an exciting year!

I agree that UND football is often more fun than hockey, in a different way. Tailgating is awesome, drink beer or pop and eat at 10 a.m. or earlier, hang out. What else is there to do on a saturday in GF in the fall?

I too wish more Grand Forks area people would attend games. I just moved back to the area, so I will be at most games, but when I lived 6 hours away, I made the trek back for a good share of games. I want the people of GF to make the 6 MINUTE drive to see some top quality football. I like the ideas presented above to make the games more interesting to some people. Advertise the events like tailgating concerts, etc.

I just remember hearing about it months ago and was reminded of it when i attended a movie at the 4 plex in town. We need a big new place. I had heard it was being built at the Canad Inn site or at the old Target.

Just curious if anyone knows about a new theater being built in GF. When will it be open? Where is it?

Fargo Moorhead is roughly double the population of GF. You would expect more fans than 13,000 show up to watch the self proclaimed "top program in the state" play football against nobodies in D1-AA in a made up conference in the brick airplane hangar, wouldn't you now? Good luck in your made up conference this year.

Would you want to play somewhere that you will not be noticed due to the hype of a certain other player? Think of it through his eyes. Also, I believe he is getting paid quite well going the route he is.
